Absolute Gem.
When ever you are sick of other games, as a break in between things or if you just wanna grind it out.
I love how characters feel unique in their play style, design etc.
Back then I was like:
I am sick of my main games.I wanna play smth u like Deadcells kinda
and be aware this is NOT Deadcells in the sense that u pick up different weapons in a run and thus change/adjust your playstyle during a run.
Here it is more so about the skills of the characters that you unlock overtime (within a run, there is a base level u always start with and then u try to collect "skillpoints" etc in a run)
ALTHOUGH there are elemental effects on top of that, and skillrunes that u can adjust for yourself as well such as more max HP, more skil dmg, more basic attack dmg ETC ETC ETC.
you can adjust it to your liking or play style approach
Places to buy "skillpoints", buy hp, or even trade in hp for others stats such as "mana" etc.

I rarely write reviews but coming back after over 8 months away from this game.
I truly must say I missed this.
Its beautiful in all its aspects and I can wholeheartedly recommend this game.
I did play already when it was in Alpha and was looking forward to what this game will become once its released.
Absolutely do NOT regret this investment.

With that out of the way.
GOD I LOVE THIS GAME
I loved MH World/Iceborn and still do
this game manages to be similar enough that you feel at home, but doesnt end up being a boring copy cat.
I lLOVE fighting monsters the, assist request works wonderfully easy in case u need it.
The Story serves as a decent guide through the game leading u to bosses- but not all!
Some u find during side quests or just by wondering around.

The Build mechanic is such a fun tool
You can adjust it to your play style
Switch it to fit better to a certain weapon so that your nodachi e.g. still feels like a katan cause u can just jump left and right to cancel animations( u dont cancel them and deal dmg but u can try to dodge attacks in case u mis calc)
Especially this Crafting mechanic makes fights feel different cause u can always approach it from a different angle.

or maybe u just wanna try some new idea u have.

I must say.
If it wasnt for the performance issues people seem to run into this games reviews would be so much more positive.

Small notice.
All my friends encountered no performance issues whatsoever unless there was really ♥♥♥♥ going on with endless amount of stuff being crafted and particle effects.
even then i still stayed playable since those drops were for just a really short amount of time.

Sehr zu empfehlen. Zwar habe ich das Spiel noch nicht durch gespielt, jedoch hat es einen großen Spaßfaktor. Zusätzlich ist die Möglichkeit mit dem Schiff zu Reisen, das Hapunieren oder auf der See in Schlacht zu stechen sehr gut umgesetzt, sowie die Story sehr spannend, was dazu führt, dass man schnell mal mehr als 2 Stunden spielt.
