Cant play on steam deck anymore after the update. Heard its about the virus - antivirus issue with the game download itself.

Never though I would get sprayed by 4 Batriders at the same time.

Revised opinion since 2021:
- The game improved but sometimes player base can still be toxic.
- Gameplay/Kills are satisfying when they connect.


Old review (2021)
The game itself is OK in the sense of gameplay mechanic and quite good for a game of this complexity. Game is more demanding on your 1 tap skill rather than spray pattern, there are medics in the game so better 1 tap headshot, as it is always a confirmed kill.

BUT oh boy this game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and a hole filled with toxic players ( griefing, or kids who doesn't not understand the word 'accidents' or they just somehow walked into another teammates's ability and got hurt, but somehow thinks teammates are aiming for them. ). And then the toxic behaviour kicks in, they forget about the match and start shooting you each round, or they simply walk into your ability to take damage and kick you out of the game... like grow up man, they just play for themselves. And omg 80% of my games are either silent chat, only 2 players communicating, or just deadass talking to enemy side.

I can't say this is the whole community but first time stepping my foot into the game and starting the game for *1 month*, these conclude my experience for the game.
- Toxic player or potentially a silent game in pubs. 10/10 birdbox vibes
- Hackers in ranked.
- Weird kindergarten kids with low vocabulary capacity who play for themselves.
- Sometimes the weird ass hitbox even though my connection is 24-35 ms per game. Man csgo has better raw gameplay and hitbox.
- Possibly an account booster which I have played with in my own team in matchmaking, then the next game the same player on the opposing team which is hilarious to watch him murder everyone in the newcomer gamemode (the beginner learning matchmaking which is supposed to let new player play with each other and learn the game but you know).

SO a 6/10 gaming experience, 4/10 player base (based on 1 month of trying the game occasionally).

*Minus the hackers* ( specially china hackers, who idk why choose to flex about their hack rather than hacking silently, man u desperate for attention or what? don't make technology the only thing that has advanced in your country. ) *it would be a 10/10 game*
