In terms of a survival sandbox game the base Conan game ranks among the best in my opinion. Playing with one other friend, we are able to find a suitable place to build and explore the surrounding area for adventure. The life-blood of that adventure is raiding NPC camps. That leads me to the major complaint I have with this expansion: No NPC camps. It removes the adventure from the expansion for solos or small coop squads. We both immediately uninstalled after learning this fact.

I know it has been said for the past two years but this game really does have a lot of potential. Unfortunately, that potential is stifled by constant bugs and an unplayable multiplayer. As someone who doesn't have a ton of time to play games, making sure the time I spend with my friends gaming is spent on new experiences rather than exercising patience for game-breaking bugs is of the utmost priority. Unfortunately this game does not deliver enough positive experiences to negate the negative.
