Back on the 360, I 100%ed this game. Decades later, after meeting the two original writers of the game, and replaying it 800 ways from Sunday, it helped make me into the girl I am today. The girl with a passion for writing, and the gritty atmosphere of the mutant infested wasteland.

Timothy Cain, Leonard Boyarsky, thank you for exposing me to so much incredible writing and challenging ideas so young. Meeting them at PAX East was meeting my personal heroes.

A must play RPG if you want to challenge your mind and your conceptions.
You could find yourself growing a little after your first playthrough.

This game absolutely rocks all of my socks. I'm still playing after 360 hours on the same character.
Iceborn just makes the game even better.
And if you make it to endgame? The harder bosses and black dragon hunts are a chase you'll learn to love.

The nostalgia is so strong I get actual flashbacks to over a decade prior.

In my opinion, One of the coolest retro CoD's right before stuff got a little too slidey.
But maybe you had to have been there. I dunno, but I sure was.

An oldie, but a classic that's stood the test of time. Captain Walker's descent into madness is perpetuated by the persuasive narrative of, "Doing Right." Flipping the common tropes of good beats evil, right on its head. The line becomes so very muddied, so very quickly.

There are no heroes in Spec Ops: The Line. This game seeks something greater than that tired plot thread, and instead looks to show you how awful people with good intentions can really be. It stresses the potential damage of needing to always do right, to atone for past mistakes, even at the cost of others.

Hell's a road paved with good intentions, after all.

A good villain doesn't necessarily realize they're one. No game proves this better than Spec Ops: The Line. Sometimes, the situation is so bleak, all we can do is try our very best. And sometimes, our best turns us into the very thing we sought to dismantle.

Easily one of the best narratives I've experienced. The story alone is worth going through the game several times over.

I look at Dead by Daylight like a rouge-like game of chess injected with testosterone and p|ss

That is to say, it's a game that at its core plays the same, one of skill with small interchanging elements.

However, sometimes, completely out of your own control, the opponent will just p|ss all over you.

It'll be unavoidable.

Embrace the moment and welcome it, sister. Dead by Daylights here to stay.

It's rare that a game manages to leave enough of an impact on me that I feel the need to leave a review, after finishing it I'm a little lost for words at how perfectly I felt like it ended. The characters (as few as there may be) are all introduced very well, and the arc that they go through left me extremely satisfied.

The devs killed it with this one. Its not perfect by any means, gameplay wise it's notably lacking in comparison to their previous work: Fran Bow. But unlike Fran Bow, its short, sweet and doesn't overstay its welcome. There's nowhere I'd say feels like padding really, just a view into the life of a very tragically unfortunate but still somehow optimistic little girl.

At the risk of coming off pretentious I'll recommend something I normally don't. Play this game blind, get it on sale if you must but go in without knowing much. It'll knock you off your feet guaranteed. Little Misfortune is one of those games that is a bit of an experience in its own right. Not really something you play per se, but a bite sized adventure that you feel, empathize, and at the end realize you connected with.

Both Little Misfortune and Fran Bow are games that get to you on a level just below the surface. There's a little extra touch of detail to them conceptually that'll make your mind keep wondering back to it long after you last played.

Early Access Review
An absolutely incredible game that requires very in-depth teamwork at the very least, and just under perfection at the very most. You will get next to nowhere by yourself and that's by design. The is co-op at its most pure and its most brutal. You're teams your lifeline and you are theirs. This game will kick your ass in the very best way.

It's lacking a lot of polish at the moment, and a progression system but that's to be expected from a game in version 0.1 early access. Really can't recommend this game enough for the hardcore, though anyone not willing to get their ass kicked up and down for a while, or isn't willing to group with friends or people over discord are likely going to want to stay away. This game is not intended for solo play and likely never will be.

Warframe is a game that is constantly evolving, adapting, and over-achieving in all possible regards. If you told me this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ little game that started out with paid revives and a stamina meter would become the absolute powerhouse it is today, I would have laughed in your face.

Its a slow start, but once you get rolling you won't look back. You'll likely never run out of fun content, and if you do just come back in a month and witness what will most likely be an entirely new game due to the absolutely absurd rate the dev team works at. They are a well oiled machine, and over 1500 hours in I am honestly still baffled at how they do it sometimes.

After reading all the negative reviews at the top of the helpful section, I went into the game with lowered expectations.

While I don't deny that some of the critisms are very valid, most of them are blown completely out of proportion. Calling this a "Franchise ruinner" is just plain silly, as it fits right in with the other games in both tone and atmosphere. The wrtiting may not be the strongest in the series, but its far from bad.

I don't normally write steam reviews, but as a massive fan of the show I feel like I owe it to the RWBY community to warn people like myself who blindly bought this because of its relation to RWBY.

The game itself has changed very little since early access, a new UI and a couple new levels is all that has actually changed between alpha and release. The main complaint being the extremely shallow combat system. The few combos that that game has are mostly uninteresting or plain useless, leaving you to just spam one or two buttons the entire game.

My second major complaint the lack of dialog from pretty much any of the characters. This game was produced by RT, they had the voice actors, so why didn't they use them!? The result of having nearly no character dialog besides the occasional out of place "Yeah!" from Ruby is that the game just ends up feeling rushed and unfinished as you walk long stretches with nothing happening.

The iceing on the cake though is how they tried to pad out the game. As boring and uninspired as the game is, maybe it wouldnt be so bad if it wasn't so heavily padded out. RT makes the mistake that many video game developers make, and thats artifical length. Every once in a while they stop you and pit you against multiple waves of enemies in an attempt to make the game a little bit longer. Not only is this extremely boring its also amplified by the games horrible combat system, making the game a huge chore to get through

As for some positives of the game, decent UI, music from the show (only instrumentals, and sometimes the song cuts out for no clear reason) real models from the show, and thats about it. There is hope that they overhaul the combat sytem in the future, but it seems there currently planning paid character DLC so it seems like the combat rework was possible pushed aside.

Honestly, even if you're a die hard fan of the series like myself, I think its best if you just stay away from this game. Theres really not much here for fans or casual players.
