It is super boring. The moans and yells add nothing but cringe, and the gameplay is just awful runner nonsense. Likely an asset flip.

While I have heaps of respect for solo devs and whoever made this game obviously spent a lot of time making their very own Dark Souls. Unfortunately, the combat is awful. There is no enemy lock and the enemies just walk up and whack you. So pointing yourself at the enemy to fire the bow is nigh impossible. Not worth the money.

The skiing mechanic feels good and there seems to be a lot of content. What is missing are the other skiers. The resorts feel empty and the forests are not very diverse. The good news is that this is in early access, so there is time to add in more detail and do some polishing.

There is a lot to like here. Story, stakes, semi-novel goals. Unfortunately, the thing the game lacks is reward mechanics. There are a bunch of punishment mechanics but nothing that says, "Great Job." To give you an idea of what I mean. In an RPG like Dragon Age, when you fight enemies, there is a chance you die and get a game over...punishment mechanic. However, if you don't die, you get loot, xp, stories...reward mechanics. This game doesn't seem to have any rewards. That being said, I don't think this is extremely far away from something fun, but it is not there right now.

It has the same vibes as Inscryption and getting my fingies chopped off was pretty funny. The random nature of the saw was tricky to get my head around, but the gameplay is deep. I was just figuring out the strategy and every time I got wrecked by a move I was like, Of course. So I think with more time playing, I would understand the game more and get my fingers chopped off less.

The concept is basically Reigns but without any of the meaningful balance. There isn't any information provided about how my choices affect the world until I get murdered. It is not expensive, but I still can't recommend it. This is to say nothing of the 40 identical pupiless dudes staring blankly at me.

I'd love for there to be more to the actual fishing, but the core gameplay loop is fine. Catching random fish is okay. Selling to random people is also okay. Everything is basically okay. That's the main issue I have with the game: while everything is fine, nothing is good. I am hoping the Early Access period will result in all of the ambitious planned updates being fully realized.

Being able to change the weather is actually a pretty nice touch. Walking around, clicking on alien trees is not an interesting enough mechanic. Also, if the goal is to encourage people to walk around in your very pretty forest, then footstep sounds are a must. When the things my character does in a game make no sound and have no effect, it is very difficult to get immersed in the game. The good news is that its cheap.

While the map is big, the actual gameplay is terrible. The trailers and screenshots don't seem to match much in the game. Survival crafting is fine and all, but this is literally just the pirate asset pack crafting with no changes. The addition of a registration requirement really tanks this whole thing, if anything could tank it more than the terrible gameplay. Also, why the hell would I make a sharp rock when I have a GIANT GREEN ANIME SWORD?

The visuals are pretty good. Planting and harvesting wheat and carrots is pretty fun. Unfortunately, the game never gives you a good reason to care about planting and harvesting anything. There are buildings that process the materials into new better things but you have to click on each one individually. I would normally count that as "gameplay", but it is not interesting at all. The buildings should automatically process stuff into money. At least it is cheap, but this is definitely an instance of a thumbs sideways would be appropriate.
