As of chapter 3, this game stands to be a top-notch remaster of a fantastic game, and hopefully good sign of things to come from the Tales Remaster project.
I urge all first timers to ignore the grade shop on their initial playthrough, as it may harm the experience.

To anybody interested in buying Ark, please know that official servers are shutting down in 3 months in favour of the remaster, Ark Survival Ascended.
Great game though, real shame about the anti-consumerism and tunnel vision for money
