It's what it says on the tin. You put stuff in a hole, fill it, and keep doing it until it's full.

If you're looking for a dirt cheap numbers go up kinda game that has physics you can mess around with and watch as they go brrrrr, pick it up if you're like me and have a few dollars lying around in your steam account.

Look. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ adore the 1+2 remake. They're amazing remakes and I stand by that.

I can also point out that, for my short time playing so far, I don't hate it! It's certainly a modern port of THPS3 and enough of 4 to make you want to go play the original.

But there's UI glitches abound, frame rate issues, combos get eaten by wonky geometry or bad collision detection or both, and all that was what I ran into in *3 hours* of playtime. It doesn't feel like a labor of love made by a team of dedicated fans of the series, it feels Activision gave the port team behind the hit battle royal Rumbleverse all the assets and code that Vicarious Visions had developed and worked on before being entirely dissolved into the company and told them "Make something we can sell for 50 dollars". Because that's almost guaranteed what they did.

LIke I said, I had fun with it. If Steam rejects the refund request I'm putting in for this game (which I'll be doing after I get done with writing this review), I'll keep playing it. The licensed tracks are all good (even if like most people complain about a lot of the og tracks are missing), and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it's Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 and 4 on pc looking pretty alright when the frame rate isn't having a heart attack.

But if it does accept it, I'm not coming back until this game gets a ♥♥♥♥ ton of patches to fix some of the glaring issues (Unlikely) and puts this game on a deep sale (Potentially a bit likely). I can't recommend you buy this if you played 3 or 4 originally. If you're a new kid on the block, I can't recommend it because it's botched in so many places.

If you wanna spend money, buy 1+2 on Steam since that game was made with a real passion, and then find some donation links to give money to the Vicarious Visions folks directly. They deserve something after watching their game get destroyed by a team who clearly didn't know what they were doing but knew they had to fit a Spongebob reference into it or their pay would get cut.

Everyone on here is talking about how great it is as a multiplayer game, and I can't agree more. But not enough people are talking about how genuinely fun it is as a solo experience. Sure you get a glimpse of that if you're separated on a multiplayer climb, but multiplayer PEAK is a fun little experience that you have with friends. Singleplayer PEAK is one of the most intense resource management games I've played in a while. Every single brief climb makes you think if you'll have enough stamina for the next. Or if you should use some food to heal off some hunger to make sure you get it. Or save that food and use a tool to make your stamina last longer. Oooh, but what if you use a first aid kit to get some of that damage healed off instead? But what if you need to use it later? Or do you just say sod it all and just give the climb an attempt without any second thoughts?

Genuinely one of the best puzzle games I've played in a few years. Even if it wasn't developed as that, singleplayer is stressful and exciting and frustrating and interesting and I can't wait to do more runs of it.

As simple a side scrolling, quarter munching shooter can be from the year Pre-2000. It's mindless insanity that you can knock out in 40 minutes with a ton of continues, and that's all it really needs to be. Thanks SNK. Very Cool.

Finally, Epic Mickey 1 off of the Wii and into the hands of modern gaming. Finally. Perfection.

One of the best Wii Games ever made hands down, with creative platforming, puzzle solving, a morality system, fun boss fights, brimming with personality from top to bottom. And this new rerelease adds in costumes, quality of life features, new movement options, an actual dedicated new game plus, updated graphics, and modernized controls to work without needing a Wiimote or a playstation Move.

10/10. Only slightly held back by some performance issues that could simply be fixed with a resolution change or a tighter frame limiter on my own end. Nothing to do with the game itself I think.

Early Access Review
Chalk up another tally for solo furry game developers making something genuinely really good in a PSX type style this year.

If you can get past the glossy furry outset, of which is plentiful, you have a genuinely fun (if a little shakily balanced) ARPG that you can play while ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with a few friends. Needs a pretty huge amount of balancing and tweaks to get everything just right, but the game play is fun, movement is addicting, and it's a nice game to boot up and dungeon crawl with friends even if there's only two dungeons in it's current state.

It's tetris, but unlike the recent tetris collection which is just a bunch of different versions of the same game, this one adds a new mechanic that adds a ton of depth to the gameplay. Very addicting, very fun, but god can it piss you off sometimes.

Fantastic online dedicated fishing game for the furries.

Can see people sinking a ton of time into this alone or as a fantastic parallel play kind of game.

Only issues are there aren't enough fish variations (would be nice to get more variants of fish than just fresh or salt water, but there's also no reason to not have more) and there's not any Nonbinary cosmetics or titles, which is really weird for a game that|'s so blatantly LGBTQ+ positive. Feels a bit odd and it'd be nice to have them just for completion, as well as for my own personal happiness.

For you to put out a big game that deserves to be put in the S tier of any game released in 2024 is a big ask already. For you to put out 50 SMALL games, a majority of them deserving to be put in the S Tier of games released in 2024 is Impossible. To put them all in one great big bundle pack with it's own world and lore? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing.

UFO 50 has some blatantly fantastic games in it that really need to have expanded standalone versions available to play. If this game gets workshop mod support like Sega Mega Drive/Genesis Classics has, that's it. This game is a killer for any AAA producing company that says small games can't be as good as big games that take 5+ years to develop, tease, advertise, and release.
