Early Access Review
---the game---
I’m totally aware that this is an EA game, but some things that made be not recommend this game, and to wait for it to go on a dirt-cheap sale.

From the alpha testing and now, the pings are still high and the lobbies are mostly empty. The only things I can see between the two are, just graphical updates and the lagging issue from the GPU rendering everything, but other than that, still the same. The trailer is completely misleading (like how they always are anyway), spending more time and money on the trailer than the actual game, which single player mode could’ve been added.
Personally, without single player, and sooner or later this game will be filled with hackers, cheaters, etc that will make this game a complete flop and basically a donation to the devs. The only good part about this game is, you can create your own private room to play with friends, but that’s it with the good.

---overall---
Because of all of the issues this game has, hardly any lobbies open and such, this will be a good time to refund this. I've given this game a 2nd chance from the open beta, and nothing has changed since then. Maybe when this game is on a dirt-cheap sale (like how Monstrum is), then I'll buy to keep it, but since this game is $13 for a MMO game with no single player option, not worth it.

---bonus - the discord---
As another review said, if you join their discord, beware that the mods there are SJW. Has nothing to do with the game, but if you are interested in joining, keep this in mind.

Hey there, N_Trainz!

This is Juan from Junkfish. I'm sorry to hear the game wasn't up to your expectations, but I really appreciate that you took the time to write down what wasn't working for you.

Since you shared your review, our dev team has been working on many aspects of Monstrum 2 during this Early Access phase, from optimization to balancing. And while there are no plans to bring single-player to the game, scalable matches have been developed, which allow you to play 1v1, 2,1 3v1, or 4v1 to give you more flexibility.

If you have the chance, you are more than welcome to take a look at the game now and check the many changes it went through since you left your review. I'm sure you'll find a lot has improved!

Thanks again from the Junkfish team!
