good n crispy boomin shootin' capturing the WH40K aesthetic perfectly.
the negatives: it has frame drops every now and again, but they are ESPECIALLY horrible in the final act of the base game, and the DLC. It actually bogs down the game so much and it makes no sense why it performs so poorly sometimes, going as low as 40fps. some enemies feel a bit too tanky on exterminatus, looking at you toads, and I wish the chainsword was better. Using it is unfortunately more of a detriment in this game-- its very weak and you take more damage than you do with it. Otherwise, it goes hard.

Love this game but why did they have to touch things that could have simply been a toggle in the settings menu?

edit: new dev team that hijacked the game essentially ♥♥♥♥ talked the fans of the game that brought it to where it is now, and even marked reviews as irrelevant even though people have a right to be upset that they changed the product

what a sad state of affairs, game is great, but the new devs are immature :(

fun gaim, straight MTG GAMEPLAY.

only thing that sucks is there is no real economy-- cant trade or sell cards which blows, and the social aspect of MTG isn't here

Performance issues aside, game is fun and alla da gofam knights are fun

Been enjoyin this game a lot so far. As an avid turn based tactics game enjoyer, the tactics combat in this game is pretty solid, and more importantly, responsive/fast. The sounds of the creatures being instagibbed is very satisfying as well as most of the weapons you equip on your crew. I love the art style of this game as well as the way it presents you ALL the information you need to understand how spells work, your characters stats, enemy character stats, keywords, etc. Really appreciate that. Game is hard, you definitely wont make it all the way through on your first playthrough, or your first few, which is by design due to the meta progression that unlocks more armor/weapon types, buildings to construct, and buffs to your starting crew. Some may be a fan of this, some may not, i don't really have an issue with it. The soundtrack is a banger and the artstyle is pretty nice. All in all this game feels really good to play in terms of responsiveness, gameplay, and the managing of character's mana/health every night. Haven't made it to the final boss tho fyi

-Minor nitpick but i feel like the 1st attack of the spellbook could have a higher quality sound. They redid all weapon sounds for 1.0, hory ♥♥♥♥♥
