Noticed : the Battle Royale gamemode is now for free, but all the current things such as multiplayer and other gamemodes are not, so it's a good thing.

I bought this game in 2015, I've started playing and I've noticed a big wave of russians players (which in fact, isn't a real problem except that they always fight themselves during casual or MM and can ruin your team's win condition).

Once you installed the game, you are already ready to play it. You have got every weapons for free (one of the rare game which has got everything unlocked).

There are different modes to play :

Deathmatch (You choose a team, Counter Terrorist or Terrorist) you spawn and you can choose your weapons directly, the goal of this mode is to kill all the enemies of the opposite team, they will randomly spawn so be careful and always watch your back.
Once your killed, you will also spawn randomly around the map and sometimes, the spawns are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

Casual : This gamemode is a 10v10 game. You will choose your team. The goal for the Terrorists are to either kill all counter-terrorists or to plant C4 & make it explode before the CT's defuse it (protecting it)
As you might have understand, the CT's duties are to either kill all terrorists or to defuse the C4.
Once you are dead, you are able to spectate players from both team, which is kinda good. But you can't communicate with alive players (which is available in matchmaking, will be talked about later)

Demolition : Demolition mode is a hybrid of the Bomb Scenario mode and the Gun Game mod. The round winning conditions for the two teams are:

Counter-Terrorists

Run down the round timer without the Terrorists ever planting the C4 explosive.
Defuse the C4 after it has been planted.
Eliminate all Terrorists (not available after the C4 was planted)

Terrorists
Plant the C4 explosive and run down its countdown without the Counter-Terrorists defusing it
Eliminate all Counter-Terrorists

It is the gamemode which I personally don't play because I don't like it.

Danger Zone (NEW)

A new Battle Royale gamemode has been added to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive yesterday.

This gamemode reminds me Player Unknown's Battleground's one, you join the game and you will have a warmup time where every players connect, you will have to find weapons.

Once warmup ends, you will choose a destination from where you will get parachuted of.

You will have to find weapons, grab money and buy things who will be given by drone (you will have to wait it to come, it usually takes around ~20 seconds.

Lava will start flowing from anywhere around the map, you should run from it because you will lose HPS and can die from it, so one hint : Run for your life & kill anyone you see.

Wingman: It is a 2v2 game mode, it is the same as Matchmaking rules and stuff, except that, as said before, you are 2 except of 5v5 for matchmaking.

You are on a map that you can choose, but it will be limited to a part of it. Generally only one plant bomb site, as a CT, you will have to protect the bomb site and kill the T's, and as a T, you will have to kill CT's or make explode the C4 by protecting it.


I think I've said everything concerning the game by itself, let's get into my point of view :

Personally, I recommend you to buy the game because of its numerous gamemodes which are adapted for every persons. If you like to war, to protect bombs, to explose C4 and to protect persons from explosing it, this game is made for you.
Same goes for if you like the Battle Royale's new gamemode such as PUBG or Fortnite.

If you don't like those kind of games, I would not recommand you this game as it's all made for those 2 said gamemodes.

The problem I've noticed & which will make my vote negative, is that they are using low quality servers now due to their new Battle Royale system, so you have lag peeks during casual/competitive etc, which is very annoying.

One day ago, and after 2 entire years of waiting, a new operation came out and added a lot of features such as character skins, new maps etc.

This update is really good and I do recommend players to take a look at the game / play the game now.
