Very good minimalist puzzle game :)

It's just kinda... boring. It looks beautiful but it's just reaaaaaaaaaaally tedious having to walk all over to double check notes.

Pretty good but pretty short. Super easy.

Today I'm rewriting my review for Blue Prince after giving it a lot more time. I stuck with it, endured the bad RNG, uncovered every last little secret. I can confidently say that Blue Prince is a phenomenal game if you can bear the RNG long enough to break it over your knee with OP permanent upgrades. The puzzles are just phenomenal. Some of them are a tad esoteric but others are just utterly brilliant.

My old review is still contained below. The first twenty hours might be a bit rough but everything after is just- incredible, Every bit of discovery and progress feels amazing. 9/10.





Original Review (~20 hours of playtime):

The puzzles are cool but having to put up with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RNG to solve them makes me wanna die. I can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stand it anymore. I've spent days in game trying to connect two rooms but NOPE!! Not even with like 20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rerolls/attempts will I get lucky enough. It's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ infuriating i hate it. Awesome concept but the RNG can ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rot.

Simply put- Blue Prince does not respect your time. Cannot recommend. Go play Outer Wilds if you want a game that doesn't punish you for pursuing something you find interesting and actually rewards you for your exploration.

This is genuinely the most frustrating & disappointing experience I've had this year. I was so excited for this game and I'm left utterly disappointed. Blue Prince truly is a game best enjoyed unemployed because at least then you might finish it before you die of old age.

What a phenomenal game. 10/10. The accessibility options really are a great addition and the game was genuinely so freaking fun from start to finish.

One of the most unique experiences I've had in gaming. Absolutely peak. Love the OST.

Beat this 100% without hints. Absolutely fantastic. Loved every second! Took everything I loved about the first three games and did it even better. Incredible co-op game, probably my fave of all time.
