One of the greatest games i've ever played.

There are a set number of missions, such as "mining expedition", "elimination", "escort duty" and many more. But they are all procedurally generated, meaning that you will never play on the same map. Missions will generate on different regions, such as "hollow bough", "sandblasted corridors", "fungus bogs" and many more, which give them even more variety on how they look and are played.

There's also a really cools progression system that starts with basic weapon upgrades, to new weapons, to promotions, to weapon overclocks and even skins for you, your weapons and your pickaxe, all which you buy using the credits you've earned doing missions and collecting gold, and the special minerals you collect during mission.
The game also has the best season pass system i've ever seen, there's only one lane of unlockables which is free, and the seasons aren't time limited, you can choose which season you want to progress at any time so there's no FOMO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The season pass is but a fun little progress bar that you can do or ignore if you don't care.

The missions themselves... it's incredibly fun to shoot giant bugs and mine stuff on Hoxxes. Also even more fun with friends.

REALLY GOOD

At first I was a bit put off by the top down view. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the game is so good I actually apreciate the top down camera a bit more now.

The game has a really good diversity when it comes to weapons, tools and equipments you can choose from. Each has their upsides and downsides of course. You can choose to go with few equipments and no armor to maximize stealth by making less noise when moving and having less movement penalty, although you'll likely get killed if spotted, or take the most powerfull weapons and armor with less stealth potential, but much stronger.

The AI is incredible. Smart and fair. They're not mindless zombies, and have "realistic" responses to situations. Though it's not really about it being realistic, it just makes stealth (and the whole game in general) more interesting, more rewarding. And if you are spotted by one guy you can still salvage the stealth by dealing with them quickly.

The story is just there to justify all the stuff that happens.

tl;dr: good game, good AI, buy if you like challenge and or stealth

I'm SO glad I got into this game when I did. If I played this when I was younger I wouldn't have liked it that much and would've just dropped it and probably never wanted to play it ever again.
Such an amazing atmosphere, fun to play and experiment.
Though, if it is your first time playing, I would recommend downloading the "Unofficial Skyrim Patch" mod, so you don't have to worry about softlocking a questline because of some bug, and DON'T play with "survival mode" on, it only makes it harder to play with nothing to gain from it.
But I absolutely love this game and can't wait for the next Elder Scrolls now.

I avoided spoiles as much as I could so when I got VR to play this game it would be as fresh as possible, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ was worth it.

Unplayable. I know my pc isn't all that but...

1- Unbearable input lag.

2- ♥♥♥♥ optmization.

idk... pubg lite was better overall

One of the best and most Important shooters in history.
It has amazing combat. The AI is good, the weapons are nice to shoot and you're rewarded for playing smart.
Even thought the graphics are outdated, it has a unique feeling/atmosphere to it.
