I love this game. Ignore the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan. uwu b42 is setting up an amazing foundation for the future. I'm friggin hype to see where it is. People who are butt hurt need to understand that PZ is and always has been a game about overcoming challenge. It's not a power-fantasy game. They make min-maxxed characters and then get upsetti spaghetti when their munchkin gets nerfed or they feel less god-tier.

Game is headed in a positive direction, the new unstable branch will continue to get love & tlc and fixes over time, and it'll become even greater than b41 stable. :3

EDIT: Changed review from not recommended to recommended. (This post had 44 updoots at time of this edit, but changing my score apparently wipes them out, so not sure if this will have any visibility. Womp womp.)

They've dropped several cumulative patches to fix this clan. I've played through the conquest of it, and in PvE at least, it's working again.

I don't play PvP so I can't comment on that.

Personally, I really enjoy the clan now that it's working. It's got interesting gimmicks with the caravans that can be used to harvest regional resources and set up movable outposts. For me, this aligns with the sorts of themes I enjoy, so it's a no-brainer for me to have this.

If you're at least mildly interested in the clan, and have the money for it, then I'd feel confident recommending it as of this review update (12/24/2024), for PvE at least. No experience or comments on it for PvP.

Currently NON-FUNCTIONING. "Assets Export" clan knowledge is broken and non-functioning, you cannot create the lighthouse, nor can you trade from your caravans. The UI is there, but the functionality is not. You cannot settle your caravan in allied territory like advertised; only in your territory or neutral territory with no mobs. They also have a recruitment clan knowledge that does literally nothing for their clan. X_X

Have played 5 matches with my SO today, 3 of the matches have crashed :s

I think it will be a fun clan once its fixed. But as it is, I can't recommend this until it's fixed. :(

I love this game

Here is the TL;DR:

It's not of 'if' you should get the game, it's a matter of 'when'.

IF you are Jank resilient, and enjoy the JOURNEY of something as much or more than the destination, then go ahead and get it now.

OTHERWISE if you get frustrated by things like losing, or bugs, and are more goal oriented such as your pleasure comes from accomplishment rather than the in the moment experience, then do yourself a favor and wait until the game has more polish.

Thought the game would be dumb, but it was actually really fun. The characters are great, and the game mechanics have neat gimmicks and aren't repetitive.

I wanted to like this game, but I just honestly found it really boring and lifeless. I'm a huge survival game fan, and so I was lured in by the idea of survival mechanics, and man, this game just isn't it. You just randomly find loot on the ground in pre-determined spawn locations, a large portion of most buildings are locked off, and you don't actually loot houses or buildings so much as occasionally find a random item on the ground in a room somewhere.

The game is just really mechanically boring, the gameplay is janky, and the world is static and boring. I'm sure its fine if you really love PvP or something, but if you're looking for a more survival or co-op experience, this ain't it. It was only after playing the game for a bit that I realized that all the neat looking survival gameplay and co-op photos in the store page are all very carefully curated to make the game look like it has and plays in ways that it doesn't.

Game has a serious griefing problem with no way to report most bad behaviour. The only way to report someone is if they type something in chat, and as long as they don't post anything incriminating, a report of their chat won't do anything. They can teamkill and harass anyone in the party as much as they want during a mission with no consequences.

It's a major bummer that there isn't accountability for people's actions. Aside from that though the game is enjoyable, but the griefing definitely undermines that fun.

Wasn't sure what I was getting into, but after I spent 7 hours replaying the same mission until I got the good ending, I was sold. My friends enjoyed it too. :>

Wicked fun game! Had a blast! Definitely recommend! Even though I suck at Rhythm games I was able to have a ton of fun!
