In VR, you possess a poor soul known John Hitman, the 3rd. and you take is body on a walk around the world.
Enjoying many things such as:

And when this is all done and you decide a climb a ladder or reload your gun.

OK, so this game, in simple words, is GOATed.

This game I could probably play for another long while!

The gameplay is actually quite simple, even a green-beard such as my friend Roger can pick up an axe and start digging!
It's easy to learn but hard to master! The gameplay can only be described as literal CRACK 'cus whether you like it or not, I'm gonna get my dose of Deep Rock Galactic by the week's end!
You mine dirt, stone, salt, quartz, gold, nitra, and various other minerals and rocks!
You bring those to the M.U.L.E. ("A minecart with legs") and pour the valuables in to the receptacle and repeat.
Sound rather boring? This is where the fun comes in. You're mining up some Morkite but suddenly Mission Control is reporting in on a rather large swarm. "A swarm of what?" you may be asking.
The monsters. Alien beasts equal to that of the one in ALIEN (That really baller movie from the 90s) and the swarm is even backed up with a retro synth-wave esque beat. And boy It can be tense at times! My green-beard friend Roger once describe the walls as "moving" but when he tossed a flare he realized that the wall wasn't moving but it was rather the SWARM.
Of course after a while playing the game, swarms start to just be a normal obstacle to overcome.
That's when the unique dwarves come in to the fold.


Dwarves are race of the characters being played. Down to their essentials, they are all identical in appearance. That's when you come in! You can customize these dwarves any way you want! And a majority of the cosmetics in this game are COMPLETELY FREE! You just have to put some time in to it and eventually you get the dwarf of your dreams.
This is just the surface! Every dwarf has their purpose.


Now that you're all spick and span, you may have realized there is indeed other dwarf types.

The Driller: Your goal is environment displacement. Your gadgets are a set of two drills and a couple of satchel charges (Careful with these, you can wipe out an entire team with this). As the name implies you drill, which sounds really tedious and boring but in this game, it's basically your way of transport. Need a staircase? Go drill one! Need to reach that Nitra on the wall? Go drill to it! Need to reach the drop pod? Go drill to it! See! It's easy! You just need to drill your problems away!

The Gunner: You shoot the buggies

The Engineer: Ever play Team Fortress 2? So basically that but with a cool gun that can make platforms with the click of the mouse. You have a shotgun and have a sentry. But the most important part of your kit is your platform gun, that in coordination with a Scout is wonderful combo! Have the Scout grapple to a wall and you can place platform right under them. You can even make bridges to clear gaps. Very good!

The Scout: OK, so now I'm really starting to realize how inspired these devs were when playing TF2. This is just Scout from TF2, but you're playing the Mann Power gamemode (That gives you a grappling hook). So basically, kind of a big deal. He can do things that no other class can do! He can light an entire room in a second! and reach the highest of shelves! Scout's are very important for a Team! Though he can get his ass kicked by gravity real quick.


So finishing up. The thing that makes this game so great is the wonderful replay value.
For starters every class can be leveled 451 times to reach Top Promotion (it's a prestige thing, every 25 levels)
And there is 4 classes, so roughly 1804! LEVELS! For 451 Levels you need 5,670,000 XP! For 1804 you'd need
22,680,000 XP! The average mission gives roughly 8,000xp That would BE 3000 MISSIONS, MOST MISSIONS CAN BE COMPLETED IN 25 Minutes, So it be roughly 1,200 hours worth of gameplay to reach 100%
And that doesn't even bring up the complexities in the weapon synergies and upgrade paths!
