Plans for next year:
- Get my driver's license
- Get a motorcycle
- Get a gaming PC rig and FINALLY reconnect !!!
Wish you all the best in your endeavors truly, keep your head up and enjoy every damn day out there, despite everything. I love y'all, I cannot wait to get back here. To this day, best years I spent gaming was with everyone on this community.
Won against cancer (colorectal, ran in the family, crazy how people judge you when you're in your 20s with cancer)
Moved to another city
Sold everything (including my PC rig) to pay for university
-- Dropped out of university (3 months in)
-- Lost access to Steam (and lost all you guys
Worked in a coffee shop
Met the woman of my life
Scored a job for a cloud service solution provider
Got through Covid
Proposed and she said yes
Moved to the countryside
Got poached by another cloud company
And finally managed to regain access to my email and Steam account.
Still no gaming PC. Still working from home, been that way since Covid. Still figuring out boring adult stuff (bills, debts and whatnot, the usual).
So, explanations are in order. But first, I'd like to offer my thanks to every single person who left a comment here wishing me well (however small, it meant the whole world) and my deepest apologies to everybody who thought the worst happened to me. I understand disappearing from the surface of Steam might have left a dooming impression, for which I am truly sorry.
But I'm alive and well !!! I did lose access to my Steam account and the email it was associated with, all the while having cancer to deal with, I had to focus on real life for a good while. Still, it doesn't excuse this long of a delay. Just got access back today, finally.
