Rushdown Revolt
--------------------
Overall: An extremely fun platform fighter, which is very easy to pick up, due to it being in the early stages of development there's some issues of course, but the community and devs are tightknit which makes it fun and makes you feel like you're part of the games evolution.
--------------------
Gameplay: The overall gameplay is exhilerating, you don't get bored easily with how high intensity the gameplay is by default. The game does an amazing job to encourage agression through its mechanics. In Rushdown Revolt it's either destroy or get destroyed.
--------------------
Design: Personally I am a fan of the graphics in the game, they're not your usual graphics aiming to be as realistic as possible. Rushdown Revolt has it's own unique artstyle which makes it 100% more attractive to my eye atleast, but this part is completely up to preference.
It also feels like every Character had alot of time and love put into its Design, while I personally main Weishan I still appreciate the amazing character design of the other characters. Chars like "Afi and Galu" are designed in a super fun and unique way, no char plays the same they're all niche and have their own unique character design.

Map design: There's more detail to the maps in this game than one might think at first glance, things such as the playable characters being part of the map or the background or small things to improve the ambience such as the roses on MaluMalu, the cozy fantasy forest ambience on Shadowbriar created by the lighting etc. or the thought enticing backgrounds like on Forbidden Shrine all make the maps lovable
--------------------
Competitive play: While im not a partaker in this area yet myself, I have eyes! Pro play is extremely exciting to watch as games take a short amount of time and are of insane intensity. Never have I ever seen a fighting game where you'll see multiple 0 to deaths in the same match at a professional level, and I'm loving it.
--------------------
Mechanics: While it may not be to some players preference how you don't have many options to escape strings I personally think it makes the game more exciting this way. No matter at what point of the game the players are at, if they don't stay alert and watch out, the likability of their Opponent making a comeback is highly likely as 0 to deaths as I mentioned earlier, are not a rarity.

Burst, burst is a creative mechanic completely unique to Rushdown Revolt. Burst is your most important ability in escaping strings, but it can only be used once per life. While it is your ability to escape strings, it can also be used in an offensive way, seeing as it actually does Damage to your opponent if he's close to your character in a 360 degree area.

Spark, also a mechanic unique to Rushdown Revolt. The spark enables you to do things such as spark cancels, super jumps and more. You gain a spark whenever you hit your opponent (in case you're playing afi and galu, you even gain it by hitting your own doll), you can then use that spark to execute a spark cancel for example to cancel the move you're doing faster, which for the most part is usually used to enable yourself to continue strings better, but also sometimes to not enable your opponent to punish you. Also executable when you have a spark is a so called super jump, which gives you more mobility AND kill potential, it is almost a necessity to super jump during strings once your opponent is in orange or red if you wanna continue hitting them.
--------------------
Conclusion: Rushdown Revolt is a creative, high intensity fighter that is good for the casual and the competitive fun. It is easy to pick up, exciting and almost never boring. It is one of the highest potential fighting games that I have seen in a long time. I have high hopes for this game in the Future and highly recommend it!

Used to think that I hate this game, I got mad over it all the time and tilted to another Dimension. Used to complain about the balancing non stop and cry about how trash the game is while spending money on it and playing it non stop anyways, calling myself addicted as an excuse for not quitting.

Today I am glad I still play the game, I have met amazing friends through the game, and I also have mentally grown alot through Brawlhalla. The part where I used to get mad all the time? That doesn't happen anymore, my mental has grown alot and these days I spend alot of time looking into the human mind.

All in all, if I hadn't played Brawlhalla I wouldn't be where I am today or wouldn't have met the amazing people that I have. While there is tons of toxicity, death threats etc. in the community. That is simply people being mad over the game as usual (with some exceptions), if you're around the right people/find the right people. Which I recommend looking into some clans and discords if you haven't found a part of the community yet that you wanna be in, you're gonna have a great time. Im always excited to come online to hang out with my friends and enjoy spending time with them.

Thank you Brawlhalla for all that you have given me. I will keep playing you for a very long time <3
