Never reviewed anything. Anyways, so Hollow Knight....

The first few days I couldn't let go of this game beacause the exploring is so much fun. There are certain areas you can only reach later in the game because you're missing an upgrade like the double jump or the dash, so backtracking is also a lot of fun and rewarding. The upgrades also play a role in a lot of the platforming that's also very challenging at certain points of the game which is a good thing imo.

The game has a lot of secrets and characters that give away some lore or other stuff that I quite enjoyed. Interactions with characters can change dependent on your actions.

Music is pretty good.(My favorite song is the Mantis Lords song) The bossfights have their highs and lows but my favorite one would probably be also the Mantis Lords fight. The end boss was a little underwhelming (1st tried it), because I hoped it would be little more challanging or maybe it was because I did a lot of backtracking and had a lot of stuff. The one I struggled the most with was the Lost Kin fight which was one of those dreamfights which I don't wanna spoil cause I'm too lazy.

All in all I had a lot of fun and I would give this game a solid 8 out of 10.
