I finally got the last difficulty

tl;dr: downgrade from nfs heat imo

+ nice arcade-y driving
+ has the customization options that nfs heat lacked
+ more options for character details
+ more options for e.g. number plates and the other small stuff
+ window tints can now be colored
+ light tints can now be adjusted with a slider
+ racing playlists (3 races at a time)
+ singleplayer
+ map
in my opinion nicer to drive on than the nfs heat map, especially at high speeds

- multiplayer
- missing heat/cop/night mechanics
- server limit 16 / race limit 8 / party limit 4
- i'd prefer driving with my underpowered car than take a loaner
- races don't start faster if everybody in the party has accepted
- communcation
- no honking
- no quick chat menu on dpad
- dpad functionality completely removed
- no fast travel to garages, only upon exiting garage

bought on sale -40% off on 1 Jan 23 (original price 70€/sale price 42€ base edition)
get heat on sale instead (especially if you're here for the multiplayer)

PvP used to be the reason I played this, and adding more things that hinder your movement in a movement shooter really wasn't what I needed here.

Only really works for one playthrough, but it's definitely and experience worth the price, even more so if you wait for a sale. Works really well for showing other people VR for the first time as Escape Room-style games are usually the easiest to get used to and also the most fun for beginners.

Unique and relaxing adventure. Haven't even finished it and it already feels so complete; Incredible worldbuilding. Voice acting is on point.
