I have an Intel i7-11800H & an RTX 3060, there is some stuttering issues in places, but nothing I'd call "unplayable" yet.... I am only about 5 hours in (being thorough with looting) and on the first actual planet after the opening.

Overall, I am enjoying my experience.

They build off Fallen Order mechanics well, and the motion capture and acting is on point.

I did NOT consume any external media aside from playing the first game and was a bit confused as to who the people are during the opening, but it ultimately didn't matter that I was unfamiliar with them as they give us enough info in game to get a basic understanding.

As a button masher, combat appears to be on point. In fairness, I am rather awful at this style of combat, but I'm enjoying it as much as I enjoyed Fallen Order (which I played on PS4). There are combos for those who like that, but panic hitting (like I do) gets me through most encounters (I'm on Knight difficulty). However, the first "secret boss" kicks my butt in a very painful way haha

The game is beautiful, even on lower settings (I've been alternating between high and epic primarily).

The best part of the game, however, is that YOU CAN PET THE BOGLINGS!!!
Even better, there is an achievement for it.

While the game is in definite need a performance patch, I'm pleased with my pre-order and am really enjoying myself.

Spoilers, not involving core game moments, are blacked out for those who want a completely blind run.
As of posting this review, I have not completed the game.

I CAN PET ALL OF THE CATS!! 10 / 10
Everyone can go home now. Game of the year.

But in all seriousness, the game has some stuttering issues so you may need to fiddle with your settings a bit to fine tune things, at least until a performance patch. I have an Intel i7-11800H & an RTX 3060. Running the game on High settings has minimal stuttering, but is at least playable thus far (I have not had too much combat yet, so this could change). Clothing tends to freak out at times too. Make sure your graphics card is up to date as well.

The House Sorting ( A couple of brief questions, one of which is pretty much you choosing your house. ) and Wand Selection ( You open a box. ) are a bit lack luster. Yes, you can pick your house after sorting if you don't like what it gives you, and you can customize your wand when getting it. Overall, both felt more like token additions than anything well thought out or meaningful, at least to me.

That being said, game play thus far has been enjoyable and I really like running around looking for all the secrets. Dialogue is fun and decently written. Graphics, while run on high (not ultra due to stuttering) are beautiful. The music is absolutely on point. My favorite piece of music is a classical guitar or lute played by a painting you just walk past!! Absolutely fantastic!!

Character creation is, in all fairness, a bit limited. My friend and I, however, managed to make younger versions of ourselves to the point we were a bit creeped out with how alike they were at times.

But again, YOU CAN PET ALL THE CATS! So, does anything else really matter? ;P

I loved this game so much on PS4, that I bought it on steam as well. Good improvements from the first game, and I enjoyed Emily's perspective. I hope if we get a Dishonored 3 there will be more than 2 choices (lethal vs. non-lethal ) or rather more ways to go about those two choices.... would give a little bit more variety for replayability -- seeing as this game has achievements for multiple play through.... though since I bought this game again on steam after getting the platinum on PS4 I don't find that much of a problem!
