Beautiful game through and through. I have always loved open world games, and this one is no exception and without a doubt the best open world game I have ever played.

I've heard of people having performance issues with the game, but my computer (not the best- it couldn't handle Horizon Zero Dawn) is handling it beautifully. I haven't had any crashes, and my frames have had very minor stutters. 1 time so far that I can remember, and it was very brief. (EDIT- most people with frame rate issues on launch have stated that a patch that came out shortly after solved most of the frame rate issues.)

The storytelling is fantastic. You feel invested into almost every character, and just about every npc has a quest you can follow to learn more about them. (My personal favorites are Blaidd, Iji, and Alexander)

The difficulty is challenging, but feasible. Because of its open world nature, bosses are extremely hard fights with the caveat that they are essentially optional; if you are having too much difficulty you can turn back, train up a bit and do other bosses, then come back for round two. Or 60. Also, the more difficult bosses will always allow for summons so you can bring your trusty mimic, but I recommend giving any given boss at least a couple tries alone- at least for me, it adds to the depth.

I've played a bit of multiplayer, and it's pretty fun. As with any pvp it;s going to be a lot of the same weapons and Ashes of War being used but that's not really a valid gripe. The pvp is still very fun, and the cooperative is great for helping your friends with their playthrough as well.

Even this far (almost 70 hours in), I haven't nearly completed the main story. I am taking my time, enjoying the scenery and difference in possible builds. There are so many opportunities and the replayability of this game is phenomenal.

Just for reference, I haven't played any of the prior From Software games.

10/10, Highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys open world games with a story rich world.
