My dad had this manual recliner where you really had to crank the handle and fling your feet out to get it to recline. Every time my older brother would use it, he would shout "KER-RANK!" when he cranked the handle. One day, he was doing that when he ripped the handle right off. A little later, my dad found the broken handle and asked my brother if he did it. My brother said no, but my dad told him that he heard him shouting "KER-RANK!" just a little bit ago. My brother admitted he said that, but it wasn't because he cranked the recliner handle. So my dad asked him why he said it. He said it was because he was cranking a juicy fart. This was actually believable because we had both been farting in the living room a lot and it still smelled. Also my brother's farts at the time were notoriously juicy. My dad said he should let his farts speak for themselves and not embellish them with lots of boastful shouting.
