However, it's built on the unstable 4.0 framework, which feels unfinished and seriously impacts the overall experience. With two more expansions still to come, there is definitely potential, but right now, it is hard to fully recommend committing to the entire pass until the core game is in better shape. I won't be purchasing any extra passes until the seasons are fully launched and the game is refined. It's wiser to hold off and observe how things progress before committing to additional investments.

I love Stellaris, but the 4.0 update broke the game for me. The UI is a mess, core systems are confusing, and things that used to work like job management now feel broken. Even as an experienced player, I can’t tell what’s a bug and what’s intended design. I’ve gone back to an older version because this one just isn’t fun. Hopefully, it gets fixed, but right now I can’t recommend it.

6/9 rounds DMC ended in me seeing an error message and being disconnected from the server.

3/9 rounds DMC i had extreme fun playing it with my friends until one of them inevitably got disconnected.

if you can't wait by all means go play it but i would recommend waiting for fixes
