Early Access Review
Probably the quickest purchase I've ever made. Build off of and improves on what the first Hades has done. Loving the art style, the mechanics, and above all else, the music! It took me years to beat the first one, now I wonder how long it'll take to beat this one. Definitely hard so far, and the first boss is no joke, still trying to beat it.

It's not even a remaster, barely any changes were made, and nothing was really fixed. Flight controls are inverted by default and you cannot change it. No MP servers available for Battlefront 1, and like 3 servers were available for Battlefront 2. Joining any server is impossible at the moment. Was very disappointed with this release, anyone who wants to play the real BF1 & 2 can get the original ones on Steam, and they have more active and working servers too.

This was a downgrade, plain and simple.

Early Access Review
Surprisingly fun game so far, more in depth than I thought it would be. Overall, to me, it's like State of Decay, DayZ, Rust (building mechanics), and 7 Days to Die had a baby that is this game. Jumped into it with a friend, skipping the tutorial and going in blind. At first it was a little rough, but we slowly figured out things and got the crafting, surviving basics, and base building down. Played 8 hours our first session and had a lot of fun exploring to build up our ammo for horde night.

Being early access we still encountered bugs here and there, although they were not game breaking bugs, just minor things like being stuck in ADS speed that can be fixed by hitting shift. For an early access game, the core mechanics were in place, working, and running smoothly right from the start. Was pretty interesting that you have to watch your carbohydrate and protein levels too when it comes to food, adding a layer to the usual survival mechanics we're use to. Another thing we noticed right away is that it's a huge map, which could take awhile on foot, thankfully there's cars you can repair and use.

Speaking of developer interaction, looking on the Steam discussion forums for this game shows the dev responding to a lot of posts about features to be added, QoL stuff, and bugs. For which the dev has responded that they are collecting ideas from the players, working to add the QoL stuff, and addressing any bugs that are reported. So far it seems like a solid start with an attentive dev team. It will be interesting to see how the game development pans out from here, and I'll definitely be updating this review probably months from now.

No developer should be able to just arbitrarily submit a game ban on Steam on a whim. Many people got caught in the false ban wave for inactive accounts that could be at-risk for botting. People who haven't played as recently as last April are getting banned, leaving a big fat game ban on your Steam profile. What's worse is you have to make a new account on Amazon just to appeal the ban. The developers have admitted in a recent announcement that they messed up with the ban wave, and are working to reverse the bans for legitimate players. It's a little too late for the bad PR though, and it's to the point where I want to completely de-link Amazon from my Steam account just to avoid getting slapped with a game ban for not playing for a long time. I'll wait to see if if Steams takes away the developers ability to game ban on Steam, if they do not remove it I will have Steam Support completely de-link Amazon from my Steam account (even if it messes with my copy of New World), because I should not have to ever fear a random game ban like that, that's just insane.

Absolutely the best game I've played in a long time. It's basically Dark Souls 4. I'm one of the lucky ones where the game is running with no issue on my RX 590 card. The game is so huge, and if you're not careful where you go while under leveled, you could run into some trouble pretty quickly. Hopefully they fix the issues that a lot of people are encountering in regards to performance issues and crashes.

Like other reviews have said, by the time you reach level 10 you'll have gear that already out preforms what is given in this DLC. If you didn't pre-order, do not buy this pack!

I loved the game at the start, even after all the launch server problems, but after season 2 I don't really see a reason to return to this game. A few new maps, and a new dlc, whoop-de-doo! I really wanted to enjoy Fall Guy's in the long run...

Bethesda's Creation Club is another bad attempt at dishing out paid mods. It just won't work Bethesda, stop trying!
Mods for all Skyrim/Fallout games are the only reason I play them well after I beat them.

I'm very close to canceling my Fallout VR pre-order, I really don't like supporting shady practices like the Creation Club...
