The game that defined a genre. Truly a classic that's finally on Steam!

Fantastic game with great depth! Love it!

One of the best games of the decade. Fantastic, rewarding gameplay that is very simple in theory but the huge variety of enemies and their attack patterns along with the incredible selection of different items and difficult achivements makes this game very difficult yet so much fun and something you can play forever.

Can't see a reason why you wouldn't buy this game. It's not perfect, obviously. The community can be quite toxic, but if you can play it with friends it's an essential title to own.

For a game all about immersion, this game sure likes to break it. The game is filled with insane amounts of glitches that it honestly makes me doubt the developers tried the game at all. I've been playing for 6 hours at this point with two of my friends and we've encountered maybe 5 major glitches, most of them involving trees.

The farming with normal beans can be quite immersive, but at the same time very repetitive. The farming is very very similar to FS17 which makes this purchase less work. If you just start a new game and buy a small field you can afford to buy the biggest machines from the start and you have no incentive to keep going. As a huge fan of incremental games, the devs has to understand that was keeps the player motivated is exponential growth - not a constant growth. This is what the game lacks because the gameplay is so repetitive. Along with bad handling and clunky controls the game isn't fun to play either.

That said, the farming perspective of the game can be quite emotionally involving and watching my plants all the way from seeds to full grown soy beans and selling them can feel rewarding. It's like my little baby I'm letting go off.

But the trees are so insanely bad it makes me feel insulted for paying 34,99 euro for this game. The devs has put zero work into the log industry part of the game, which is the least repetitive part. It feels worse than Early Access. I can't believe they honestly shipped this game in this state. All over the Steam forums people are talking about how ♥♥♥♥ the trees are. They are way to heavy for their size, the hitboxes are way too big and the cranes are like butter. It would be one thing if the game was "difficult", but this is just frustrating because there is no skill involved.

If it wasn't because the absolutely horrid tree mechanics, unimmersive glitches and clunky controls - this game could truly be something special. Listening to country music and talking with friends while watching the farm slowly grow is a feeling few other games can replicate. It is so sad that the developers has put zero passion into the game and continues to release a new version of the game instead of maybe a DLC and is using the naivety of passionate fans like myself to collect easy money. If they are going to release a FS 21 I want to see serious improvement.

And fix the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trees, it is honestly an embarrasment for Giants Software as a whole.

One of the best FPS games of all time. It's almost completely perfect! The replayability is insane and it's got interesting RPG elements, but it's not a slow paced game, which completely fits my style. Can't recommend it enough!
