IMPORTANT. > What I want to say in this review is not positive, but I still recommend the game. Because throwing Sh1t on a game that has depopulated doesn't help repopulate it. And I want it to be repopulated because it is a gem buried in the dirt. Anyone who stops playing it because it's depopulated is complicit in the depopulation itself and should just be ashamed.

PREMISE: I admire this game, the Dieselpunk setting is fantastic, these alternative 90's where WWI never ended and sprawled all the way into space, the concept of piracy, the factions, the lore, the aesthetics, the mixed weapons between WWII and Cold War.
Mechanically much better than Escape From Tarkov, Marauders is not a punishing game, in fact it is encouraging, fun, adrenaline-pumping, anxiety-provoking, adventurous. I have always enjoyed it. It's a beautiful looter shooter, by the way it's still in alpha, butfull of potential, that could give much more obviously but already very good as it is.

However, today it is depopulated, people are not playing it. Now the issue is clear: if it is not played means that people are bored, that the updates have not retained the users, that the developers have not been good.
Sure, the developers haven't done great updates, they haven't been heard from in months. But just blaming them is a toxic attitude and not constructive at all.

I think when a game gets depopulated there are dynamics that depend not only on the developers but also on the consumers of the product, the videogamer figure today is an individual who lives in the mass and moves according to fashion and trend. The big buffoon streamers influences the gamers a lot, unfortunately people do not dig, they just follow the mass and fashion to choose what to play.
Evidently if a multiplayer game is indie like Marauders and doesn't travel in the Mainstream it's easy to make it depopulated, so it's also up to the user base to support the game by playing it, buying it, involving other players to keep it alive.

If no one plays this game anymore it is because the players have stopped playing it, they have not spurred enough developers to do better who seeing the drastic decrease in the user base have stopped making updates.
What is the point of making updates and investing money and time if no one plays the game anyway.

SO I INVITE ALL OF YOU TO REPOPULATE TO THIS GAME, I REFER TO THOSE WHO ALREADY HAVE IT IN THE BOOKSHOP!

Because only YOU can repopulate it, regardless of updates, and a repopulation, a call to the developers could keep this project going.

So you people who say that this game is bad and that it should not be bought, that it should not be played because it is dead should be ashamed of yourselves! Because you are to blame, you are the ones who are making this game dead, certainly not a tiny development team of a dozen or so people.

The life of a multiplayer game just depends on the players, if you like the game you play it.

So open your f00kin' brains and wake up, otherwise go away and play Hunt Showdown (that I always like) which is so fashionable because the bigwigs stream it on Twitch and shut up.

IMPORTANTE! > Quello che voglio dire in questa recensione non è positivo, ma mi sento di consigliare comunque il gioco. Perché buttare M3rd4 su un gioco che si è spopolato non aiuta a ripopolarlo. E io voglio che venga ripopolato perché è una gemma sepolta nel fango. Chi smette di giocarci perché è spopolato è complice dello spopolamento stesso e si deve solo vergognare.

SE SEI INDECISO SUL COMPRARLO LEGGI BENE CIO' CHE HO SCRITTO!

PREMESSA: Questo gioco lo ammiro, l'ambientazione Dieselpunk è fantastica, questi anni 90 alternativi in cui la prima guerra mondiale non è mai finita ed è sconfinata fino allo spazio, il concetto di pirateria, le fazioni, la lore, l'estetica, le armi miste tra seconda guerra mondiale e guerra fredda.
Meccanicamente molto meglio di Escape From Tarkov, Marauders non è per niente punitivo, anzi è incoraggiante, divertente, adrenalinico, ansiogeno, avventuroso. Io l'ho sempre apprezzato. Insomma un looter shooter bellissimo che tra l'altro è ancora in alpha, pieno di potenziale, che potrebbe dare molto di più ovviamente ma già molto bello così.

Purtroppo però ad oggi è spopolato, la gente non ci gioca. Ora la questione è chiara: se non è giocatissimo significa che la gente si annoia, che gli update non hanno trattenuto l'utenza, che gli sviluppatori non sono stati bravi.
Certo, gli sviluppatori non hanno fatto grandi update, non si fanno sentire da mesi. Ma dare la colpa a loro e basta è un atteggiamento tossico e per nulla costruttivo.

Io penso che quando un gioco si spopola ci siano dinamiche che non dipendano soltanto dagli sviluppatori ma anche dai consumatori del prodotto, ormai il videogiocatore è un individuo che vive nella massa e si sposta in base alla moda e alla tendenza. I grandi streamer buffoni influenzano molto l'utenza dei giocatori, purtroppo la gente non scava, si limita a seguire la massa e la moda per scegliere cosa giocare.
Evidentemente se un gioco multiplayer è indie come Marauders e non viaggia nel Mainstream è facile che basti poco per farlo spopolato, quindi è anche compito dell'utenza supportare il gioco giocandoci, comprandolo, coinvolgendo altri giocatori per mantenerlo vivo.

Se a questo gioco non gioca più nessuno è perché i giocatori hanno smesso di giocarci, non hanno spronato abbastanza gli sviluppatori a fare di meglio i quali vedendo la diminuzione drastica dell'utenza hanno smesso di fare update.
Che senso ha fare aggiornamenti e investire denaro e tempo se tanto nessuno gioca a questo gioco.

QUINDI IO INVITO TUTTI VOI A RIPOPOLARE A QUESTO GIOCO, MI RIFERISCO A CHI LO HA GIà IN LIBRERIA!

Perché solo voi potete ripopolarlo, indipendentemente dagli aggiornamenti, e un ripopolamento, un richiamo agli sviluppatori potrebbe far andare avanti questo progetto.

Quindi voi che dite che sto gioco è pessimo e che non va comprato, che non va giocato perché è morto dovete vergognarvi! Perché la colpa è vostra, siete voi che state rendendo morto questo gioco, non di certo un minuscolo team di sviluppo da una decina di persone.

La vita di un gioco multiplayer dipende dai giocatori e basta, se il gioco ti piace ci giochi.

Quindi aprite il cervello e svegliatevi, sennò andatevene a giocare ad Hunt Showdown (che amo comunque) che tanto va di moda solo perché lo streammano su Twitch i pezzi grossi e statevi zitti.
