Reminds me of valorant/cs2, which I don't like: You die once, and then you have to wait for the next round to respawn. That's boring af, half the game is spent sitting around waiting for rounds to finish.
Also everything feels off, the running, shooting, and gameplay all feel sluggish.
The card system wasn't really as prominent as the trailer made it out to be.

Purposely no ultrawide support (3440x1440) to prevent people from having an "unfair advantage". A workaround I tried was max FOV plus a slightly lower resolution that stretches the game to the full width, but it just made me dizzy. Played 1 match, then uninstalled.

(2000 hours played on battlenet client.) The only good thing about this game is the cinematics on youtube, and luckily you don't have to play this awful game to watch them.

Edit: Genuinely not just here for the negative review train; I seriously do not recommend anyone try this game.
I played nearly every day since ow1 beta in 2015. 2000+ hours logged. That's 8 years I'll never get back. (Average of 1.46 hours a day). Some sessions were very short due to frustration with the matchmaking system putting me in an impossible-to-win steamroll match, and other times it was a steamroll against the enemy team which didn't feel good to win at all. This system has always been and always will be in the game, they won't fix it, its useless to play since the matches are always rigged. [No fair matches.]

All the characters I played kept getting nerfed to hell. They also took away my favorite maps, including temple of anubis. [No fun characters. No fun maps.]

Every match has insane toxicity that you wouldn't believe: racism, sexism, people telling you "♥♥♥". And also the idio#ic "diff" message in every match, which is pointless in a PvP game because of course there is always going to be someone better than someone else. Its actually a sub-game for some people to try to see how much they can tilt someone on the other team, which with enough success turns their own teammates against them and they throw the match. [No kindness.]

People love throwing matches and flaming you if you don't pick a meta character. You always have to be up-to-date with the meta and also always know the best character pairings that support each other, all while the random teammates get to pick whatever they want and no one tells them anything. You always have to memorize every single patch-note change to characters to know new ability changes at a moment's notice. You can't just play whatever you think is fun or else people on both teams will talk s### to you. [No fun allowed.]

Enemies are against you, teammates are against you (bonus: teammates against you in voice chat too), game devs are against you, customer support is against you. Just simply stay away from this cesspool.

Been playing on and off since about 2005, before it was added to steam, my steam hours aren't accurate. I probably have 2000-3000 hours in this game. This is the best lifeskilling/casual mmorpg I've ever found. Over the past couple of years they merged all 5 servers into 1, so there are still plenty of players to play with. There's always something to do.

Once you get into the game, its easy to forget the graphics, don't let that be a limiting factor to start playing.

Went in completely blind other than knowing what genre this game is. I love how extremely detailed the alchemy process is.

Many hours worth of content. It's great that you can co-op with a friend and then battle anyone, even other players or dojo leaders together.
