So Sony actually did walk back their changes under the pressure of 270.000 new reviews and probably thousands of refunds. I still think it's a bad move and I hope this shows that companies cant get away with everything.

The game itself is still crashing a lot and I do hope they fix that soon, but all in all this game is amazing and really shows what a live service game can be. I have never felt this immersed into any virtual war, let alone a live service style one. No game has ever made me check into a companion app to see the state of the war and few games managed to bring this much pure fun into my late night playing sessions. In my opinion the repetitiveness of the missions is a non issue once you start playing with friends or a semi consistent group, because the good friends, errors and people trying to be funny, also managing to actually be funny a lot of times, make every mission unique.


This community is amazing and can achieve anything they set their minds to no doubt and I HOPE that Sony finally lets ArrowHead do it's thing, because they are doing a damn good job and it hurt to put a negative review on this, be it temporarely.
Should this drama be fully over now, I highly recommend to join the Helldivers.
