Genuinely one of the best games I've ever played. Exactly what I wanted out of it.

As a concept, this game is amazing. Persistent warfare, players having an actual impact, and some pretty cool gameplay makes for an exceptionally attractive product. The entire reason that I have as many hours logged in this game that I do, is because of the Clan I joined and continue to be a member of. Without a solid group of friends, this game is absolutely miserable.


Unfortunately the game is at the same time a product of a Dev team that refuse to communicate with the community in any meaningful way. There are significant issues that consistently get ignored by said Dev team, much to the detriment of the players of this game. Cheaters, Griefers, and Alt users continue to destroy any potential enjoyment the playerbase may have.

The Developers removed In Game Moderators due to corruption and abuse on their part, and never replaced them. Instead they have a system of reporting players through a support ticket, which unfortunately goes ignored these days with the same troublemakers coming back over and over without ever being addressed in a significant way.

This is further hampered by the Dev team's choice to make everything about the game as disrespectful to players' time as they can. They seem stuck in the same mindset as most Mobile Game Developers (The company used to be named "Clapfoot" and published Mobile Games) in that they find "Gacha" mechanics interesting and utilize a lot of time-gating via overly complicated systems that do more to punish players for their hard work with even more hard work even to do the most simple of tasks.

The fact remains I may play this game more after this review, because friends that I enjoy spending time with still play it. However, I will never under any circumstance recommend you give this company a single cent for this game or ANY OTHER they produce. Don't let the name change fool you, this is still the same awful Dev Team that will produce "Anvil" or whatever they name it.

The only good Developer is Julian, the Art Dev. The rest are garbage.

A refreshing change of pace coming from well over a decade of playing WoW on and off.
