My favorite game

Super fun to play with friends, legendary difficulty is not nearly as hard as I remember though

Fun to play with friends, but be aware there are cheaters, and some achievements are impossible now that Boss Hunt and community challenges are no longer in the game

The classic zombie apocalypse tale, Plants vs Zombies takes everything you knew about zombies and turns it on its brain. Plant vegetables to stop the undead from running, jumping, or dancing toward your house to eat your tasty brainz. The adventure mode isn't very long, 50 short levels appeal to the casual gamer in all of us, but the strategy behind growing your arsenal to stop the brain-hungry zombies appeals to the hardcore gamer in us all. The zen garden is very peaceful. No zombies, just the fun loving plants you came to know in the adventure mode, now hungry for water and fertilizer. The mini-games offer a bit of fun, though most don't have much replayability. Overall, Plants vs Zombies Game of the Year Edition is a fantastic strategy tower defense game that appeals to any type of gamer, and fits right into anyone's collection.

While the online multiplayer does not work anymore, the local multiplayer is quite fun. Both modes remind me of the battle modes from the Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. It's a fun party game to play on the big screen, but really only worth it if it is on sale
