Nier Replicant: bunch of numbers is a remaster of the cult classic Nier Replicant, that adds a bunch of new content and removes some.

There has been numerous tweaks to gameplay to make it more enjoyable for the unwashed masses (AKA Automata fans) like the faster combat, numerous new weapons and costumes. Things such as the side quest design or the upgrade material grind have not been changed, as it was made annoying and asinine by Yoko Taro on purpose. Stop crying about it and accept the hard truth.

My main gripe with the game is the lack of gestalt content. Gestalt is the original western release of Nier, that included a handsome dad instead of a skinny boy. While dad appears in a side quest, that was originally a dlc, but is now incorporated into the remaster. He has a new model and possibly one new recorded line (i feel betrayed)

There's a ton of losers crying about the gameplay and sidequests of this game, because they don't have their attention deficit disorder medication with them. SHUT UP LOSERS!

The story is incredible. While you could call it a lot simpler and smaller than what Automata had, i still prefer this one's story over Automata. You actually feel something for these silly characters and see something from yourself in all of them.

Overall, i prefer this over Automata and i prefer gestalt over Replicant due to dada nier having a role in that one. Play this game and enjoy it.
