Wow what an improvement over the first original teaser that was released! It is very close in 'feel' to the original game with some changes and additions. I am very excited to play the full release! The only small critique I have in the movement and animation times, especially when cooking. I imagine that would get tedious after many hours of playing but that is a very minor issue honestly.

Like Overwatch 2 was supposed to be if it had a relationship with Marvel and didn't lie to players and treat them as if they were nothing more than open wallets. Would definitely recommend this game to people still bitter with the unnecessary death of the first Overwatch.

Don't look at my play time as this is probably my 4th time replaying this game and the third time I'm buying the game so I could replay the Ultimate Edition on Steam. With out a doubt the best game in the series (Inquisition is also great but felt quite different with regards to gameplay for me). This game is a must for the story and the characters. I'm a bit of a sucker for the goofiness of Alistair but he grows on you and wears you down with humour. Unfortunately the steam version had some major memory leak issues and caused crashing of my game and my PC around the point of approaching the large bridge in the beginning of the game. There is a fix and I have made a video to help anybody who may struggle with this same issue:

Whilst the game is very easy to pick up and learn to play, my main gripe is that the gameplay is incredibly tedious and drawn-out. My first time playing (with a friend and 2 AI players) and the match went on for over 3 hours! I honestly just wanted it to end but the AI players seemed to do anything not to try win and to drag it out as much as possible to the point of frustration. I spent about 30 minutes at the crown of command getting incredibly frustrated at the terrible rolls and one AI that kept healing itself, going one space back and forth, and doing nothing further. The game is certainly not bad but I feel it needs some adjustments to accelerate the turns and make matches much shorter because I can't say I had 'fun' playing it honestly although I really wanted to enjoy it. I captured the match on the video here so you can see for yourself what I'm talking about: https://youtu.be/FatlJCt4fyI

Don't look at my play hours because I've owned Gothic 2 since I was a teenager and have replayed it countless times. Decided to re-buy it on steam just because I love Piranha Bytes so much. Sadly Piranha Bytes is officially no more but here's hoping their new studio (Pithead) will make a Gothic-like rpg in the near future (THQ Nordic now has rights to the IP). I made a video about the recent news. Please follow and support their new studio if you are also a huge Piranha Bytes fan like me!

For those struggling to get the game to launch on modern systems, simply just go to the install folder and launch testapp.exe and voila! No other fancy workarounds needed :D

Fantastic game but for those wanting to replay it on modern PCs (Windows 10) and suffer from the crashing after the intro videos issue, the solution is to start the game in windowed mode (alt+enter) before the videos start playing and then you can press alt+enter again once you've chosen the correct resolution and you can play it. You will have to disable fullscreen again on launch unless if you decide to download a tool such as Borderless Gaming for example.

Fantastic game, unfortunately took me this long to finally get around to playing it but its still holds up well, even today in 2023. Great story and atmosphere!

Highly recommend Fallout 76, have always been a massive fan of fallout games and Fallout 76 feels very similar to Fallout 4 but has what Fallout 4 was lacking with regards to more of a living world with more things to collect, more customization and other people to explore the wasteland with of course. Very good value for money buy, especially when its on sale.

Only buy on sale, it is short and the combat is even easier than the first game even on the supposed hardest difficulty (Gothic difficulty) but still provides a conclusion to the main game that is worth playing after completing it.
