The base gameplay is extremely fun and rewarding. The gunplay feels good, and most stratagems feel really good to use. The devs are also constantly tweaking to find a balance where most things are fun and useable at most difficulties.

The game is best played with friends, although there are plenty of open lobbies for you to join if diving solo. Whilst you can play entirely solo, it's not really recommended, the game is designed to be played in teams.

The game is also rewarding generally, with medium difficulties offering a decent amount of materials and currency, with higher difficulties offering even more.
Most importantly though, the premium currency can be earned IN GAME, through GAMEPLAY. Not random achievements or rotating "challenges".

The game is also extremely community focused, with constant in game events and "missions" that reward everyone as a team once completed.
This has fostered a healthy and welcoming community as a whole.

The devs have also shown themselves to be dedicated towards the players and player experience.

Recently, there was huge drama over Snoy enforcing PSN login post launch, despite numerous territories and countries the game was sold in not having PSN access.
This was despite pushback from the devs and players. They went so far as to modify FAQs to try and change the narrative that PSN is optional.

The devs encouraged the players to speak out, and as a community we did. Sony have since listened and backtracked.

All in all, I wholly recommend this game. Especially if diving with friends.

Whilst I enjoyed this game on and off for the period I did play, the devs have showed their hand.
After minimal updates for so long, they've announced they're pulling the plug. Development is ending on this game that they haven't finished, and have been selling for a while.
At the same time, they've got a different game on the approach.

What's worse, is they are pulling the plug entirely. Servers will be shut down. No offline mode, or P2P functionality will be added.
I have paid for a product which will no longer exist.
I will not ever be buying from these devs again. This is disrespectful, it is dishonest.

The game is exactly what it says on the tin. It's a puzzle game, themed around inventory sorting.
When I first started the game, that's exactly what I was expecting, and what I got was honestly a little bit more.

The game actually features some mechanics that make it feel far more of an inventory sorter than just a 'sort the shapes' puzzle game.
- You can stack ammo, and load ammo into weapons.
- You can use healing items to make space.

What surprised me, is the game does go into a little more depth with some of these mechanics, even including an ammo crafting mechanic.
My only complaint is that the game wasn't longer. I heckin' loved trying to figure out the levels.

If you're stuck on any level, then the mechanics do have some extra depth to them. Mild spoilers below.

- Different guns of the same calibre have different mag sizes. All guns need to be loaded before you finish a level, so try loading them in different orders.
- Health is a resource you manage with your inventory space. Not everything heals you, and different items have different heal amounts. Try eating different things in different orders.
- Different mixes of gunpowder makes different ammo types. Look at what weapons you need to load before you start mixing.

All in all, I recommend this game.
It's short, it's sweet. It's a labour of love.
It might only be a couple of hours worth of play time, but it was worth that time.

Turns out the devs are homophobic and transphobic, and the mods will target and harrass users for their identity in chat, whilst allowing actual obscenities to continue to run rampant.
This behaviour has allowed a torrent of transphobic and homophobic people to engage openly with the platform.

This game is no longer safe for all people, but instead has become a cesspool of hate.

Trans rights are human rights. This is not a "political" issue. It's a human rights issue.
The devs and mods disgust me.

The end of an era. I've wrote two reviews for this game, because of how much I enjoyed it.
One during Witch Queen's release, one during Lightfall's release.

Whilst I never recommended the game, it was purely due to the monetisation of the game, and how challenging it was for a new player to get into the game.
I have always praised the gameplay within these reviews, because to me, Destiny 2 is a very enjoyable experience, mechanically speaking.

But now I cannot recommend this game at all, due to the upper management of Bungie killing the dev team and their passion for this game.

Upper management will refuse to listen to what the devs want to implement, whilst forcing more monetisation in. They will refuse to let the devs tone back microtransactions, or focus on what the community wants, because they want to chase a bottom line.

Recently, 100 Bungie employees, 8% of the total company, were laid off because Lightfall didn't meet inflated revenue projections.

Upper management is killing this game, slowly but surely. And until that changes, I cannot recommend this game.
Because until that changes, this game will only get worse, not better.

I wanted to like this game, I really did. I wanted to like it so ****ing bad. The cars fall apart, the custimation seems decent...
But then I see a wait timer for building stuff, a wait counter that can be skipped using coins. And then I saw a fuel counter, that can be purchased.

Get your ♥♥♥♥ together. Release the game as a full £20+ game, not some free to play mobile bull****!

I wanted the game, but I guess I'll wait until I can find a trainer to skip the fuel and premium currency, cause you do not deserve my cash.

Gotta say, the game is kinda fun, really enjoying gage.

Brought game of the year edition, and I must say, I am dissapointed. For the list of DLC avaliable for this game, the GTOY edition and season pass give you a dissapointingly small amount. Gotta say, kinda regretting my purchase here

Killing OpenIV will not stop the online modders as OpenIV is not involved with them. Go die in a fire Take Two, you and other publishers are becoming a cancer upon the gaming industry.

Oh, and to everyone saying **** Rockstar? You know Rockstar is on ourside right? They openly endorse single player modding.

UPDATE: Take two have now decided that all modding is not allowed. They have began removing SINGLE PLAYER mods. This is likely due to them wanting to monitise it later, similar to Bethesda.

Oh, and Rockstar? Now I am saying ♥♥♥♥ you as you have taken their side in this, defending their actions and not standing up to them. Guess what games I am not buying in future. I shall give you a clue, they are developed by Rockstar, or published by Take Two

Whilst I do enjoy the game, I cannot recomend it in its current state. No way of reporting to owners, or admins about cheaters, broken 'karma' system, and the crafting system is rather unintuiative, being unable to combine items of the same kind into stacks when they can, unless done through the crafting menu. Even 'VAC' servers have cheaters that are able to use unlimited range melee, wall hacks, teleport, and spawning cheats. Once these are fixed, maybe I can recomend, however until then, I am afraid I have to say no.

Ninja edit: This is not even mentioning the player base, whom are so petty and violent, that newspawns will kill each other over nothing, or will charge those with a shotgun. Couple this with a rep system that punishes you for not being hit first, even if that hit is from someone with an insta kill shotgun, and you have a horrible mess.

Secondary edit: As for item stacking, I mean it for items that CAN stack, such as amunition. In order to stack two 1x 20 guage, instead of dropping them on each other to combine, or a simple right click, you need to go through the crafting interface.
