If you're a fan of 90s first-person action games and ancient Rome, Caesar’s Revenge is a must-have.

This game pulls no punches with its difficulty, and it's all the better for it. I was on the edge of my seat, tearing through levels in a whirlwind of gore and slashing combat. The art style is a fantastic homage to 90s games, capturing everything from the gritty pixelated textures to the retro-styled level select screens. The developers clearly took inspiration from old-school techniques, like creating 2D sprites from 3D models, which lends the game a genuine, nostalgic feel. The level design is also exceptional, with hidden rooms inside hidden rooms.

It’s hard to find any faults with Caesar’s Revenge. If I were to nitpick, I’d say the shielded enemies can be a bit of a struggle to deal with. However, this challenge pushed me to experiment with new strategies, and the game encourages this with the variety of weapons and tools at the player's disposal.

Overall this game is a fantastic time and worth every denarii.

Early Access Review
This game feels very much the same as Warband but with a bucket of polish poured over the top.
which is exactly what I wanted from a new Mount & Blade. If it aint broke dont fix it!

Skyrim VR is easily the best RPG VR game out right now.

It's certainly true that the combat is a little clumsy especially melee, but if your in the same boat as me and have already played skyrim you won't be here for the combat.

The scale of the world is breathtaking, walking into the towns you've spent countless hours exploring again in vr reignites the same nostalgic feelings.

It's a great game and VR celebrates the game all over again.

Great game, but no auto save feature makes it feel like a game from the 90s. after playing for hours late into the night I pressed quit assuming it would have saved my progress like nearly every game these days.

nope...
