I played Myst when I was about 5 or 6, didn't understand it much, but liked it regardless. Then I heard about this after I gotta VR setup. Cyan doesn't release much, but when they release a game, it's hard to do a negative criticism becuase you realize that it's so immersive and breathtaking. Yes sometimes I'm a bit sad that the loading screens are 5 to 10 seconds, but thats probably my only negative thing to say about this game.

When I think of this game, the first thing that comes to my mind is true mystery/puzzle solving. Its a rare thing to see a game nowadays that isn't a point and click puzzle solving game. Obduction really makes you think, sometimes take notes (there's a camera in game just for that), and more than that, the game makes you want to find out more. They leave out a world to explore, each thing leading to another.

Point is: It is a true Mystery game which involves puzzle solving and a well told story to keep the player enticed.

EDIT: So literally 4 minutes afer making this review, I beat the game at Exactly 10 hours (using a walkthrough for about 10% of the game). It'll keep you busy and there's plenty to explore.

EDIT 2: Turns out there's more than one ending.
