Will this game never leave Early Access? Probably.

Base game is pretty fun, but I can't wait for the overhaul mods like in M&B: Warband.

Edit: ♥♥♥♥ official release is coming, I was wrong. The game's made steps in the right direction. And hopefully upcoming (and confirmed) workshop integration with the official release finally gives modders the trust and desire they need to go mad with this game.

Nothing better than losing your entire fleet in a matter of seconds like those bombers in The Last Jedi.

Some bugs and obvious things that need to be patched.

But the content added genuinely adds new opportunities and the issues are easily resolvable. Went beyond my expectations, especially with the new supply/railroad system.

Give yourself tinnitus easily by playing this game at full volume with headphones.

See unlike Sony, Steam doesn't have draconian refund policies and store fronts.

Buy the game, try it out, and see if you can run it. If you can, try to see if you can ignore the bugs in the game or at least bare with them until future patches/updates.

If not, refund before the 2 hour mark because the game won't get any better from what you've determined so far. Else, keep playing the game because it's honestly not No Man Sky levels of bad and nor is it Fallout 76 levels of bad. Make your own opinion and figure it out yourself. You have that option with steam's refund policy. Unlike big brother Sony who thinks they should curate their storefront for you instead of letting you think for yourself.

If you can get the DLCs, this game is genuinely great.

Get this or even 7 instead of 9; until Koei Tecmo remasters their previous games or puts out something competent.

And make sure it's on sale too, 49.99 seems a bit steep but it's your money. I'd wait for a sale personally.
