For all who come before it~
Wishing fortune - amid misfortune
Desperate to avoid it~
A grim ensemble-
Of stark remodel;
Chip a coin - Into the void~
Ripples on the surface
A distortion: Truth in motion
Wistful thinking - wishes seeking~
A last resort; One last retort
A first belief; One final leap
Digging down; Into the ground;
Unto my final resting;
A pit too deep; To fill with sleep
Too deep to reach the surface;
No matter what the choices
Can’t seem to fill it perfect
I’ve ♥♥♥♥♥♥ close~
Reached for the rope
Filled the silence with hopeful guidance
Tossed my change into the well~
Heard it clang as it all fell~
Childish games; A charade for the chains
A game of pretend; No hope for an end;
Wishing well O’ Wishing well
I wish for an end
To the guilt of my sins
Those yet to be done
