As a sequel to the SteamVR Performance Test, I was eagerly awaiting the continuation of the story following it's tear-wrenching cliffhanger of a finale. Nevertheless, 'Are you ready for Valve Index?' failed to deliver any such gratification.

The story is bland and uninspired, lacking any resemblance to previous titles. Familiar characters are nowhere to be seen, adding a sense of horror, as all appears alien to the player. To be frank, one could argue that the storyline is non-existent. They would be correct.

There are however, some aspects that deserve credit. The controls are incredibly intuitive - due to the fact that there are no controls whatsoever. In addition, the game is shockingly short, which is a positive as I do not want to bear witness to any further defilement of the SteamVR franchise.

Despite being the SteamVR Performance Test's successor, it is apparent that Valve no longer cares about producing interactive, fun and emotional tales. The development team behind this game do not gain my respect, and I am utterly disappointed and heartbroken with this product.

Valve has done it again.

Since the release of countless successful video games including likes of Half-Life, Half-Life: Blue Shift, Half-Life: Opposing Force, Half-Life: Source, Half-Life Deathmatch: Source, Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, Half-Life 3, Portal, Portal 2, Bridge Constructor Portal, Team Fortress Classic, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, Counter-Strike: Source and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Valve has been in the process of developing another masterpiece.

The SteamVR Performance Test is a fitting name for the latest sequel to the Portal Franchise. Without spoiling such a beautiful heartfelt story with superb character development and intuitive gameplay, you follow on from the events of Portal 2 where the main character, Atlas, has come home after another day of science. You, the player, take the reigns over Bob, the maintenance robot. It it your duty to delve deeper into Atlas's personal life, where you assist Atlas to unwind and dissassemble. By pushing yourself into the depths of Atlas's electronics, you are given the powers only a mere human could dream of. The power of fiddling with such an innocent robots circuitry can only be compared to the likes of God. At this very moment, everything goes south as you are left alone with nothing but a pile of burnt out electronics and the pungent smell of blown capacitors. The story begins...

I haven't felt such emotion from a video game in years.
Thank you Valve for producing another staple in video game history.

Montaro is an astonishing work of art.

Created by the genius’ at JCKSLAP, Montaro is a tale of a young Shiba Inu venturing into the dangerous city. Encountering litter, human related hazards and wild beasts, Montaro is faced with the task of avoiding inevitable turmoil.

Montaro is a mischievous character. The creators encouraged developing Montaro’s personality by adding in gameplay elements which suggest his everyday deeds. By encountering female students migrating to school, Montaro regains his morale and motivation by lifting up their skirts in order to see the ‘pantsu’ underneath.

This game is truly a masterpiece, not to mention the soundtrack is full of beautifully detailed compositions, of which all are incredibly mastered.
