I just really don't like repeating the same thing over and over again

The base game is great the DLC is horribly designed for gameplay. Unless you enjoy having your soul ripped out over and over and doing the same thing of grinding repeatedly it maybe ok for you. Issue is, with grinding you see progress. Not in the DLC. no matter how much you level, up your stats, or get better gear. It doesn't matter, the minions around the map will 2 hit you. Funny enough, the boss will be incredibly easier but you will still take a ton of damage. It's designed to ensure you take damage and hurt.

I've got an AMD 5900x and an nvidia 3080 this pc is pretty up there in specs and the game runs at 30 fps or less. It constantly crashes also. If you can somehow get past the crashes that the game design is really poorly made forcing you to play in stealth or risk dieing and losing everything. It has cool puzzle areas but once you realize that death = you lose everything and you must die. There is really no point in exploring as you're going to lose that loot you found anyway. I have no idea how this game got a 10/10 it's more like a 5/10 at best.

very hard game, not fun at all. Like playing darksouls but not nearly as fun as darksouls.

Great game but filled with people cheating with hacks and valve has no intention of getting rid of them. They only ban a couple before they put the game on sale. Then you have the griefers that are saltier than a bag of layz chips with nothing but salt in it. And of course the odd times when bullets just will not connect with the head beacuse hitboxes are broken. My advice don't play this game.
