Shuckle is my favourite Pokemon because I got Shuckie and spent ages trying to get him to evolve. I even skipped a shiny version of it because I thought the blue shell was just a game bug. I levelled him to 50's before realising he doesn't evolve. I cried and tantrumed over that.

Still hadn't got over it for a good ten years to be honest. Couldn't think of Shuckle without getting irrationally mad. A few years back my partner told me about the mechanic where the more time you spend with the Pokemon, the more it loves you. I didn't realise that my Shuckle probably fricken adored me. I miss my Shuckle now. I wish I'd kept him so I could transfer him to another generation. I think he's on my cartridge but I'm too afraid to check if the thing is still alive after all this time.
