I really wanted to like this game but it was a total disappointment. It's just cheap jump scares that get you the first time but after the 4th you don't even react. I'm n developer but it looked like a bunch of common assets dropped into a game. There were more than one occasion where the game's lights turned off and I just had to sit there. Even at $2 it's just not worth it.

I know getting a copy of this game to promote gives me a huge "read this with a grain of salt" flag but holy crap this game is AWESOME! Such a wonderful throwback to simpler shooters where you don't need 200+ buttons and some non stop sub plot you don't really care about.

Having a leveling system incorporated into it makes it even more fun though I definitely felt lie I was missing a lot of points and was dying to get more leveled up. 10/10 go get it NOW

Had a chance to check this game out. Atmosphere of the game is great, I like the idea of the game as well. The combat however is really not great in its current form. Everything moves in a lagged state to simulate having to traverse through water but I felt like I was missing about 99% of my shots. The dodge mechanic when using a controller goes off every time you turn and it doesn't seem to keep your aim where it was. I felt like I was just floundering around (PUN!).

Overall the game has a lot of potential but there has to be a bit more effort put into the controls (I also would get stuck to things and just flip over repeatedly).

10/10 if you're into team or solo horror discovery games. Tons of hidden stuff, rotating events and jumpscares. Very few bugs and issues in my experience. I can't say it doesn't borrow from Phasmophobia but it surpasses it in literally every way!

I had the chance to play this game early on before the release. I really love the art direction and design of the game with the cards playing a really cool random factor. I'll admit I'm still rubbish at the game but it's super enjoyable.

I guess if I were to critique, the combat does take some getting used to and there was a part of me that wishes you could have a 2 player co-op. I know 4 is the norm for all horror games now a days and I think that this being solo makes it unique and more fun but I kept thinking how much fun it'd be to just have one more person.

All in all you should DEFINITELY consider buying this game!

Literally one of the absolute best 4 vs Monster games out there. Fun atmosphere, good scares, puzzles and a grind that's a good balance between time consuming and rewarding. Anyone looking for a solo or co-op game should take a serious look at this. In my opinion it is a quantum leap ahead of Phasmophobia on its best day.

100% unplayable. Tried it on a stream. Half the buttons did not work, half the interactions did not work. Monster just randomly walked around. Totally not worth it.

Easily one of the best games I have played all year. Straight to the point FPS action at its finest. No multiplayer, no super involved leveling system (there is one but it's based on how you play) no exp, no major inventory to deal with other than ammo, and no complicated weapons. While some people may see those as a negative, I find the simplicy of the game lets you focus on the one thing you really should. THE GAMEPLAY.

Great, interesting storyline, fun and challenging at the same time.

If I had one gripe it is that the game sometimes put you into a stealth situation and FPS games are sometimes not the best when it comes to stealth, but at most it's a minor inconvenience.

9/10

Honestly If you don't own this game there is something seriously wrong with you. Lots of games claim to be a "horror" style but usually lean on cheap shock tactics and gross looking items. Alan Wake, plays like a pure Stephen King novel. While by today's standards it may be considered a simple game the storytelling is simply a cut above anything I've seen in a LONG time in gaming. The more you play the game the more you want to play the game. Easily one of my top 10 favorite modern games of all time.

10/10
