I highly rec. this game. If you liked Stardew but always wish it had more fantasy too it, this is it!
Lots of cosmetic options, decent story line, unique characters.
Multiplayer works well and wasn't difficult.
Surprising depth I didn't seem coming from the game.
Give the main quest line a good chance.

I got this game after much deliberation. It has not disappointed! Every time I think the game is done giving me things to do, it gives me more! The amount of skins for your character and dress up stuff is awesome and I'm pleased with decor and work stations, I don't feel overwhelmed or underwhelmed. I've been thoroughly addicted to this since the moment I picked it up. These 89 hrs were between 2 very full work weeks with crazy turnarounds, and I still found myself wanting to play late into the night before work. There are things that only happen later in the game, like year 2 and so on so give it a good shot! If you like min/maxing profits through a shop's inventory this is good at that too. Don't like running a shop? You can hire the assistant to do it while you do other things, and there's plenty else to do, from dungeoning to fishing to foraging and taming animals. There's been lots of hidden surprises in exploring too which keeps things fun! I just can't rec. this game enough! It's fantastic and I can't wait to get to the late game!

I'm absolutely in love with Kind Words.
The community is so damn wholesome and helpful. Whenever I feel down I load this up and whether I smile, or finally cry and let it all out, I log out feeling better and better. Sometimes I mix it in with my chores to keep me going through the day, taking little breaks to see whose responded to my requests and to respond to a few more. I'm just so overwhelmingly happy with this and I hope the community grows and we see new features over time that make it a deeper and deeper experience.
Whether you feel down, or want to help others feeling down, I could not rec Kind Words to you more. You will walk away feeling something.
Thank you ever so much to the Developer and their hard work. You've made a really beautiful thing with a lovely community to be very proud of and I'm so thankful to be part of that community.

This game is an amazing Co-Op! Lots of fun I didn't expect to have! I like that it's actually a challenge to beat levels and communication with your Player 2, 3, or even 4, is essential! By the time we were turning it off for the night we were scheming gameplans before levels and using Short-Code words for communication xD

A fun little battle royale with a lot of potential! Off to a great start, you start off on predesigned maps littered with loot. Weaponry is fun and unique. Id love to see different valued heals, more quirky weaponry, more ways to customize ones character(including being able to be female would be awesome!) Right now there is only 2 maps, but I can't wait to see more!

Hosting a match was simple and easy, no lag and very quick!

I wish the colors on customizing your character allowed you to free select from a colorwheel instead of preset colors. The purple for my hair couldn't match my tie, there was no purple for my shoes, and I ended up a bit of a hot mess! A minor but valuable(atleast to me) observation.

I also think it would be fun if there were rewards to each match. Maybe finding new customization stuff or leveling up to new ones.

Great game! Really excited for it's future!

The game is good. Fantastic even. Ive put a ton of hours into it.

But..
It is unfinished. It is poorly optimized. We've begged for optimization for a -long- time.
Release is imminent, and I still get regular crashes, lag, etc. I have a beast of a PC, but after hours of ARK, I need to restart. My Friend has a pretty low-end scale PC.. She cant play ARK without first restarting, then she can't play anything else after until she restarts. And trust me, She's done all she can to circumvent the issues. Low settings, codes in the launch options, etc.

Is this game fun? Is it Good? Yes.
But it will crash, it will have glitches and bugs. Yesterday I was stuck in a waterfall, today I lost 8 walls to them falling through the floor, I've seen bodies stretched out into unimaginable shapes so badly I didnt know they were bodies. The Primitive Expansion was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and so were the fixes that were sposed to happen to it.(They may have happened, I don't know, after weeks of waiting, and then a complete stop in communication and fixes for consoles but not PC, we canceled the server we bought and gave up on Primitive.)

A Pretty House with designer furniture and lots of knickknacks isn't appealing if its seeped and crawling with bugs.

This Game Needs Fixes. And I wouldn't pay a dime over $25 or so til it gets them.
Save your $60 for well-polished, -finished- games where the devs LISTEN and FIX the issues present before worrying about pumping new content in the game.

It's a good game, but principles and morally, how can you ask 60$ from your potential customers before ever listening to the ones already playing and MAINTAINING AND FIXING YOUR OWN WORK? Please, find your priorities.
Treat your customers right and you won't need to charge 60$ for this game to make money off of it.
Well-Treated, communicated to, promises kept.. Customers who see that will throw down plenty of money for a company that does right.

I love ARK. It's the Dinotopia I always wanted.
But I want ARK to be it's very best, and I'm disappointed that it isn't showing any effort to do that yet is asking more of those around them.

For now, I can't recommend this game. I'm sorry.

I absolutely looove raising sims and this is the iconic start to them all. A fantastic game! Ive done about 3 playthroughs so far and it's definitely challenging depending on what you're aiming for. The game so far has worked perfectly and the translations have minor flaws at best, which don't create any confusion, imo. I'm really praying they add it's sequels after this one. If you loved Long Live The Queen, Then you will Adore this. Keep in mind ofc though, that this one is much less linear story-wise than LLTQ(Infact, has very little story to none if at all.)

After half an hour of fighting with the terribly coded Multiplayer, needing to restart the game after nearly every match, the inability to find a "Quit" button, and the gameplay where the baby is untouchable and basically needs five seconds to get into the nearest source of water and drown, or grab hold of the nearest chemical/pills/fork to stick in socket where as the Dad can barely even grab them away and can't even pick up the baby... I returned it. I returned it so fast. While 4$ is basically my lunch money, It was the principle of how horribly done this game is.

I'd rather a game take 3 more months to come out than come out so terribly done it's unplayable.

I love this game so much!
It is a lot like Harvest Moon. It feels like Harvest Moon if it had all the updates to game mechanics we wanted. You can marry either gender, they have the mines, fishing, tool upgrades, a museum to collect things into, farming and livestock, gift giving to build relationships, minecarts to unlock for fast travel, an achievement like tree to climb that unlocks upgrades around town and other things for you.

Absolutely fabulous with huge potential to keep growing! I can't wait for Multiplayer!
