I didn't blink for the full 22 minutes - before directing District 9 and Elysium, Neill Blomkamp made four short films; Tetra Vaal, Alive in Joburg, Yellow, and Tempbot. They were saturated with scifi story-lines involving robots, androids, and aliens. After having such great success with District 9, he was inspired to continue his short film adventure. This Volume 1, Rakka, is an amazing rebound. We can directly see the visionary ideas he is so willing to put into film. I feel thankful for just being able to watch his works-of-art. Let see what happens next!
