"Never be afraid to raise your voice for honesty and truth and compassion against injustice and lying and greed. If people all over the world would do this, it would change the earth." -William Faulkner

Edit: Since Gaijin has began implementing the changes they promised, I now feel comfortable changing my review back to positive. This is my favorite game of all time, and I want nothing more than to see it succeed. Thank You for listening Gaijin, please keep moving in the right direction.

-Below is my original review.

Okay boys and girls, buckle-up for this one...

For me, it all started back in 2013. I was in middle school, and was starting to really get interested in history. So when one of my friends told me about a simulation-style, plane game that was making headway, needless to say, I was pretty excited to check it out! Seeing as to how the progression system works, I was SO excited to climb the fighter ranks!

Over the years, I watched as the game added aircraft, after aircraft, as well as upgrades to the graphics engine. It's like I just couldn't quit playing! Switching around to different nations, trying different aircraft, it was definitely the one thing I thought about at school all-day long.

One day, I launched the game to find that Ground Vehicles were being tested... That was it for me... My favorite game just got even better! I could now experience something that is unheard of in any other game, accurate shell tracking and physics, combined with detailed, accurate vehicles.

I also recall the day ships were added, a day I had been waiting for, for a very, long time. Honestly though, Ship battles just aren't for me. I would rather experience my favorite game mode "Ground Realistic Battles", where I can use my unlocked planes and tanks to unleash havoc against my enemies.

The amount of vehicles and nations increases every update, making sure to keep us long-term players buried with content to enjoy. Personally, I have HUNDREDS of vehicles.... but that's nothing, considering there are OVER 2,000 VEHICLES IN THE GAME!!!

I know you're probably thinking "It's a Free To Play game, it's probably full of Pay To Win garbage". Well, you're wrong. While War Thunder DOES have paid vehicles, you DO NOT have any advantage over players who choose to not spend a penny, at least in terms of game play. That is because War Thunder balances vehicles by giving them a "Battle Rating", or "BR". To sum it up, the vehicle stats are calculated based on survivability, as well as capability. For example, if you have the old, WWII, German Tiger H1, you don't want to face the modern, American M1A2 Abrams, in battle... That all being said, the advantages to spending $, are more "Pay To Progress". If you use a "Premium Vehicle" (vehicle obtained through the store), you earn an additional amount of research points towards whatever vehicle you are researching next in your tech-tree. You can also purchase a "Premium Account", which effectively does the same thing. Of course, you can probably see that combining both a "Premium Vehicle" and a "Premium Account", gives you a significant boost towards unlocking new vehicles, but like I said, that creates NO "Pay To Win" functionality.

To wrap things up, War Thunder is BY FAR my favorite game, being that it takes all of the things that I love, and applies them all into one, single, package. It STAYS updated, not only in terms of new vehicles and graphics, but also in terms of the re-balancing of vehicles. I honestly can't think of ant other game studio that keeps their game so up to date, as Gaijin does with War Thunder. They have an EXCELLENT YouTube channel, where you can learn real history, AND new features/gameplay mechanics that come along with every update.

I've put off this review for so long, simply because I don't feel like I could ever explain everything I love about this game in one sitting. Guys, Gals, try it. Watch the YouTube videos, learn the game, and I promise you, you WILL fall in love. Thank you Gaijin Entertainment, and may this game last for many, many, more years to come... <3

Although it's pretty much just shooting ranges, This game has a pull to me like no other. I just can't stay away. The customization is amazing, buuuuuuuuuuuuuut, I would love to see Attachable Foregrips/Stocks/Bipods etc. Other than that, I love it! 500% Reccomend!

Okay, Here we go. Call Of Duty WWII... Where should I begin? The terrible "Fame Skipping" (not bad FPS, but skipping frames every now and then) The Hackers? Tiny Maps? Or even (In my opinion) misadvertised gameplay. In everyone's hopes of Call Of Duty FINALLY dropping a good realistic game since the first Black Ops, they failed. With female soldiers, this game gets an automatic F on Realism and Immersion. After a half an hour of forcing myself to play this monstrosity, I finally got tired of something I hoped to be the next Battlefield game. I was wrong. Sledgehammer, Raven, Activision, You WILL NOT receive my money. Your time is up.

"Ahhhh. Sh*t... Here we go again..." Where do I even start. Man, I'm an Arma fanatic. The Arma games have always been the best PC games in my opinion. From the non-linear encounters you have with other players, to the mass amounts of weapons and customization, it's my happy place. When I heard there was a DayZ standalone game coming out, I got very excited. Just the thought of an updated Churnarus map and the new levels of detail they had to offer had my money soon after the pre-alpha state began. Man, let me tell you, there was no greater feeling than running up to VMC, picking up an M4 and sneaking back down to the coast to prey on some fresh spawns. It feels like just yesterday I was still in high school, anxious to get home to hop back on DayZ. I will say, throughout it's development, it has undergone some SERIOUS bugs, glitches, and random annoying things, but man, it's there now. The best way to play this game is to skip the official servers, man up, download the DayZSA launcher, and hop right into the modded servers. Having a side chat to ask fellow players questions about key aspects of the game will help you learn the game a lot faster, and don't even get me started on all of the modded weapons, along with clothing, and the REMOVAL OF STAMINA in most servers... BIG PLUS... The trader / safe-zone's and the drastic improvements to the base game are the reason I started playing this game again. If you want to check out what you're in for, just peep some of my recent screenshots of the game. All in all, Modding has saved this game. 100%. It's my new go to when I get off work, and soaks up all of my free time. Is it worth it? Absolutely. Just dew it guys. You wont be disappointed.
