Very refreshing and polished entry into the Fighting Game genre. I found that I consistently wanted to play this game, even though I struggled to keep playing other fighters like SFV without quitting. Very beautiful game with very fun game play that keeps drawing me back in day after day. Even if I am on a lose streak and discouraged, the next day I just want to hop back in.

Strive also has very good tools to help beginners get used to fighting games, without making the game lose complexity; feels like it still has a high ceiling. A lot of mechanics like Roman Cancel and Burst to help give options to not make you feel as stuck.

I also enjoy how balanced the characters are, for the most part (Sol Badguy, *cough*). It usually doesn't feel like someone is a hard counter, but they may have better tools. It is very refreshing for characters to have different play styles but not stomp other specific characters as much as games like SFV.

Overall, the game makes for a very positive experience that I was lacking when playing fighting games before. Even if I get absolutely demolished by an I-no, Ramlethal, or Sol, I always have a drive to want to improve and get better. Progression is very gratifying and easier to see in Strive. I simply love strive in a way i have not loved other games in a while.

This game is definitely worth a try, even if you are skeptical about the fighting game genre. It has so many tools to make it easier to grasp, and even make you want to keep playing. The ways it allows you to see improvement is especially good. A friend of mine, who is brand new to fighting games, bought it and has started playing with me, and he constantly praises how much fun he has, which he has not experienced with fighting games before. Please play Guilty Gear -STRIVE-

I have to say, this has amazing potential and a very captivating premise, but unfortunately I just don't think I can recommend this for other players. It feels extremely under-baked at it's current state and very poorly optimized. Just a little too clunky and awkward, and frankly boring (to me at least). I will definitely be giving this game another look and a re-evaluation, but some time in the future when this game has had time to update more. I really wanted this game to be a bit more polished.

CS:GO Review
it is pretty damn fun and it feels very rugged and solid; it illicits a sense of nostalgia despite me not playing CS:GO before this year. Definitely get the prime pass too, makes a huge difference. However there's a trade off. If you cannot play this game for a while, like the case is for me, you will really notice yourself losing skill and your ability to perform well, more so than other games. It can make it frustrating or less fun.

Hands down, best game I have ever played in my life. Maybe 50 hours in and I am not even done with it! So rich and full of content; challenging in a satisfying way. It would be a mistake for you to not pick up and try this game.

Honestly, without fail, this is my favorite game of all time. Everything is done perfect: the art style, the music, the game-play mechanics, the difficulty, the satisfaction. EVERYTHING. I cannot state enough how good this game is, and how much it does right. If you were to buy one game, make it this. You would NOT regret. If you have any questions, leave them below.

Great for if you want the music mainly. The music is really good, however.

I've had this game since release, and I feel that it is under represented, and lacks the publicity it deserves. This is not my favorite game of all time, but it is such a damn good and beautiful game that recently its one of my most played games. Its perfect for when you want to play something for a short while, but can stand longer sessions without issue. This game puts so much attention to detail, and the art style is stunning yet simple. And I recommend a controller is used, it is superior. This game felt like it was made for the steam controller and works so well with it. I have not found another game I can say this is true for.

In short, you must give consideration to this game. It is simple yet elegant, and I just love it. I play it when I want to relax or just play a game for 20 minutes. I'm not sure what else I can say without being redundant, but i highly recommend this game.
