Gday Mate! Nah I didn't buy Warfighter.....I'm so sick of EA and all the BS stunts they pull treating customers like sheep brained cash cows. BF3 is hardly bug-free, and the MOH 2010 box I bought doesn't even have a scratch on it yet but it's obsolete for online play. MOH2010 was more like a BF3 pre-beta that we had to pay for anyway. So they haven't even finished with BF3 and they're already trying to move us onto Warfighter. What's wrong with Bad Company 2 (except for the scope bug they introduced with the last patch)? It's a vastly superior game to any of the above mentioned titles IMHO anyway. Sorry for the rant dude but EA has been pushing my buttons for a while now and I rant about them at the drop of a hat. LOL!

Thanks man. I got FC1 working pretty good without any mucking round lowering settings either but when I saw the 64-bit pack was called AMD 64-bit (something or other) I put off DL'ing it (I hear it works fine with Intel processors but that'll have to wait)...now to find a bit of quiet time to sit down and enjoy it with it and a drinkie or something.
I've just been BF'ing so I'll add you on that too. It'd be cool if we could BF sometime. The Taiwanese/♥♥♥/Korean servers are pretty good sometimes so are some of the west coast US ones. I play with one of my friends in Korea on them sometimes and have no probs. Some of the Seattle servers for Crysis 2 weren't bad either if memory serves....maybe the same would apply for BF3?? Anyway dude thanks again and hope to see you round.

Thanks for that man. I've had the Guild Wars recomended to me but haven't got round to it yet....yeah Hervey Bay is about 3+ hours north of Brisbane. I do TS with my clan on BF3 mainly but have to keep it down at night (wife+2 young kids=limited gaming experiences on selected evenings only...LOL!). TBH I've been doing a bit less FPS on TS lately anyway....the busted mic doesn't help either. That's on my list of "to gets". Anyway, tonight is the night when I'm gunna try to get FC1 sorted. I'll let you know how I go. Take it easy mate!

Gday gday....yes indeed. Brisbane (about half-way up the east coast) actually. Got friends from Michigan/Great lakes area and the ~15hr time difference would account for us never running into eachother. Thanks for the reply & interesting to hear that everything worked out OK with FC1 and Win7 for you. I think I might give it another go and tinker around with it and see if I can't coax it into behaving itself this time round. Thanks heaps man. Hope we end up running into eachother online sometime.

hey man. Hope you dont mind me looking you up like this...i read your recent post about Far Cry 1 64 bit upgrade. It's an old fav of mine but had difficulty playing it on Win 7 64bit Home Premium (sound lagged a tiny bit). So I was happy to see that some are interested in older awesome games and getting them to work properly on newer OSs. Contemplating getting it on Steam...it seems it works for some on Win 7 not others....you had any issues?
