The industry standard for 3D model painting. It really does make things so much quicker.

Very intuitive to use and I only have one gripe which was the installation.
If you get over the installation process (which isn't Steam friendly) Then this is a really good video editor.
I'd only recommend this if you know how to handle Windows 10.

I had to change my every day account to a full admin account with no UAC turned on to get this to quit complaining or failing with an error code before it installed. I then quickly reverted the account settings back and used it to put together my holiday vid which I had put off as didn't have an up to date video editor with similar workflow to the Serif Movie maker program.

Right so when video editing I want to work quickly and eficiently.
This program sure is quick and efficient and My computer is far from a beast that you have these days.
A 3rg gen i5 (Quad core) with 16GB RAM a 1070 FTW and 2 SSDs.

What was a surprise was the video recorder built into it. You don't have the same fun overlays as Cyberlink offer but as I got this during the Steam Summer sale beggars can't be choosers. I needed a new video editor and this did exactly what I needed.

I had finished making the video and uploaded in less than two hours with a weeks worth of videos to chose from.
There is a small learning curve and that is just how to key-frame if you've never used the software before but all the usual drag drop elements are here for quick video editing and I really like the widgets over the videos that cut down having to go into another area to set simple audio and video controls.
The auto scrobbing through the video on the asset viewer is a god-send as you don't need to open the video you just move the mouse across the video to see it.

Cross fade and splitting videos not to mention adding text is perfect and snapping is great too.

The only downer about this program is the installation has to be under an unrestricted administrative account.
The installer should check and warn you.
(That doesn't fully remove all reg keys it puts in)

I'll give it a thubms up for Steam summer sale item you should buy.

Thumbs up!

A relaxing sound-track and a surprisingly cool flight sim!
A simple Voxel engine powers the world and harkens back to the 90s with this style.
Albiet a more vibrant and lively version and the quest line is simple and not too taxing.
I would recommend the quest-line before taking on the timed races. All we need now is a quest/map editor!
The game as some quirks but nothing detracts from the game-play (Which is paramount)

When is Skye 2 coming?!

This is the only ARPG game I actually liked playing. Nice visuals even before the revamp and engaging NPCs and quests.
Cool game if you want a quick no nonsense hack and slash.

TLDR - Conclusion
BDO Is a game you can pickup after leaving for a few months and get back into with the benefit of being gifted something for coming back and the additional benefit of picking up what you haven’t collected from the last time you logged in. If you want a well-paced MMORPG I whole heartedly encourage you to play this game. You won’t be disappointed if you like a bit of everything and don’t like being forced into a specific style of game play. You can play casually or competitively make friends and enemies become trader to the stars or just gain fame by posting selfies in the gallery. BDO is for want of a better word Awesome!
I can't give much more of an in depth review as the whole game is just too big and you need more space to give a justified review explaining everything. Best thing about the game is no loading times when travelling around the map.

Characters

There are a number of classes, some which are female only so at some point in the future we expect to eventually get their male counterpart which appears to be the MO of this game. You have a number of free character slots to begin with and with a little patience you can expand that to the maximum number of characters you have access to. Instead of youtubing what the most powerful class, I would recommend picking one you like the look of and working on levelling this.
Some classes are easier to fight with than others as they have bind-able special skills which can be linked to create devastating attacks PVP or PVE.
The character creation tool of this game is about as good as the Sims one if not better. With the new graphical render engine the level of realism to the overall look of the characters is less plastic and more in line with the fantasy style. The attention to detail is pretty standard now but when this game originally dropped it was unprecedented.

Anti Cheat
This is a controversial part of the game and will be the deciding factor for most players as the service which is installed can be likened to a rootkit which will monitor your activities whilst the game is running so I’d advise not to log into any websites you wouldn’t mind any complete stranger logging into on your behalf because it’s NOT CRYSTAL CLEAR to what extent this anti cheat software is capable of but it will kill known tasks of software which can be used to inspect processes used for monitoring memory (which is the primary use of any cheat software but does not discriminate so you can’t run Microsoft process monitor (procmon)).
I don’t run Windows under an admin account and would never recommend any one else does or disable UAC for that matter. BDO insists that I do every time I run it to be able to use this anti cheat (which I don’t let it) You can quite simply run the black desert launcher with compatibility mode run as invoker enabled which will allow the game to run under the current account. This will limit the capabilities of the software.

Community
I like this game a lot, ultimately the community makes the game live or die. There is a huge following but you can’t count the following on one set of servers alone. The servers are split between Console, Steam and non Steam versions of the same game so you won’t get an idea unless you tally up everything. I’m not an ambassador to the game at all but I read and follow the general community and in some countries the BDO ethos is not nice or the local game chat has been likened to shear filth. I’m hoping that the new blood acquired from console players will bring a new lease of life to the game.

Servers
In all the time I’ve played this game I’ve only once been unable to enter the game and the fix was to restart the computer to pick up a steam update. The game triumphs above any other MMORPG in that you only wait to load if you are jumping around the map from city to city. This has kind of been fixed now by the addition of the Magnus Questline. The Magnus allows fast travel between all the relams and you just need to jump into a well :)

Not including the Sea which can be navigated for free by hopping on board a trade ship bound for the other side of the map (~15 Mins travel time IRL) if you haven’t crafted your own boat and been sunk mid way through your voyage. So you never see a loading screen unless you are entering a dungeon or a PVP battle event.

Media/GFX
The game has gone through a few enhancements over the years it’s been out for English speakers. The last one being the music which was remastered with a full orchestra soundtrack and these where brand new tracks not just re-hashed old ones which to be honest sounded like orchestral tracks to begin with. The graphics renderer had an overhaul too which added a new level of realism in the form of a physical based renderer. Don’t be put off by this game assuming it requires a beast of a machine as it is designed to run on just about any Windows machine which is no mean feat. In the time I’ve been playing there have been four additional characters released and four new areas (one under water) which still don’t open the whole map up from its fog of war look.

Money
(not real)
The central market economy in BDO fluctuates like the wind depending on events which are running all the time. The market has been overhauled over the last year or so to rate control your purchasing. You will find acquiring wealth in the game quite simple once you master trade nodes and workers. You can quest which is good for levelling your current class and learning about the world you are playing in. You’ll learn how to level up your gear, which you won’t be able to do without the knowledge so you will need to quest. Some gear can be acquired through quests and levelled up through quests to the max.

Gear and levelling
You have three weapon traits, Primary offensive. Secondary Offensive/Defensive and the last weapon is for your Awakening skill which you have a quest path for at level 56. Some classes have a personal mount. Some have a support spirit (of sorts). Accessories like rings and necklaces can either be quested for or enhanced through world NPCs then there is armour which will buff different attacking aspects depending on the variants of armour you chose.
Levelling gear is done with similar items of gear or through the use of black stones. Different black stone varieties can be acquired through gathering, questing, PVE or purchased from the central market. Using your processing skills will allow you to craft lower grade black stones into higher grade Black stones for the enhancement of higher grade equipment or armour. It’s quicker to get the silver and buy the stones specifically for your enhancement runs.
Enhancements can be set to guarantee the enhancement of the equipment but at the cost of reducing the durability of said equipment (usually from %100 to %0 at higher grades). For accessories this is dangerous as you can quite easily lose a high levelled accessory to a failed enhancement. For accessories you can use cron stones which will not allow the accessory to be destroyed after a failed enhancement. For weapons and armour you will just lose durability and then need to either buy the same weapon or armour piece for a blacksmith/repair NPC to then recover the durability.
Recently Stable owners have been given the ability to Repair equipment which is more for convenience as you would find yourself a long way between a central market NPC or blacksmith NPC.
Enhancements can be gambled on with the enhancement level you gain from a failed enhancement. There are so many youtube videos which explain the enhancement process. If that wasn’t enough equipment has three grades on top of the enhancement process, Green, Blue, Yellow and RED (Red being the strongest grade but this will soon change).

I give this Meh out of 5

Jesus this better not turn into another battle royale clone pay to look pretty!
If I wanted Battle royale I would have played Fortnite!
Where is the MMO part of this game?
I'll give this a go once it's matured a bit. The controls are good but the PVP is just as drole as any other.

PROPS to getting realtime visuals but it's too much too late. The keyboard mouse control sucks if your card isn't 20XX series. I only recommend because its nice that a golden oldie still has a following.

This appears to be an interim update to version 3 (which has been in development for a while) of Fusion which leverages DX11 (2D and DX11 Shaders) and other memory and runtime enhancements. Clickteam have been around for decades and IMO are the original pioneers of bringing the simplicity of game making to the average Joe for Windows (back when it was Windows 3.11) and DirectX was in its infancy.

I could write up a history on this but what you get for this addon is modern runtimes and debug tools for software you make with Fusion 2.5. You can't knock this software as the learning curve is second to none. If you want raw speed then learn C++ but IMO I've managed to optimise my games and they run just fine.

The only issue I have with the Steam releases is that you can't auto load your saved file creations as the steam guard prevents this.

Although I admire the effort that went into the development of the game; it does look incredibly polished!
It looks and plays like the sort of game that would lend its self more to a mobile device than PC.
This game is not for me.
