Oh man. a wonderful souls-like experience that brings some new and interesting mechanics to that sub-genre. Especially with the release of the DLC -- definitely something I'd recommend for everyone thats a fan of the sub-genre to pick it up

Absolutely fantastic game. Unfortunately ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by Bethesda. My only complaint is that there wasn't more of it

This game is a great experience and was much better before the whole Nintendo lawsuit. Buy it just to make sure Nintendo sees this and learns to pick-up their ♥♥♥♥ and make worthwhile Pokemon game.

This game is fun too. Bonus

You know what. It's an okay game. I'd consider it a good successor to the previous Dying Light. But you know. Having a big empty world that you can parkour in doesn't make it fun. But it as a fairly good discount, but definitely wait for it.

The only thing positive about this game with a sub-par campaign experience. The worst thing about it are all these priced DLC for factions that likely should just be included in the game. Predatory DLC practices that are really only seen in Warhammer games. Buy it at an extreme discount

a fun co-op game with real balancing issues at the higher difficulties of play. It had problems at the beginning with a lack of content, micro transactions being predatory, but it's been real fun to occasionally start it up and play a mission or two

Fantastic game where my only real criticism is that there isn't enough of it. Pick it up on sale for under $10

I just want to point out that the only reason I'm leaving a negative review is how long to game has been in early access. It receives a fair bit of love from the devs and gets updates. The major development updates have come out way to slowly, and they've had to remove their road map as they just never met their own timetables.

However - i want the FULL start to end experience already. I don't want to have to keep revisiting the game, grind out the early/mid game, in order to experience the NEXT section of the game.

WHEN the game comes out with a 1.0 release with the introduction of a new Biome, I'll change the state of my review.

This game had an incredibly amount of hate for something that was OBJECTIONABLY a better gameplay experience than LFD2.

Several years later however, with DLC, growing pains, and some patches later, this is absolutely a great experience best played with friends

It's a game with a fun game play loop that resulted in me wanting to play more of the combat and explore everything that I could. Its story, while cliche and shallow was enjoyable enough. Your fellow characters follow really obvious archetypes and are shallow. This game assumes that you have knowledge of the events that happened in Inquisition. Including some of the character story lines. So if you're a bit rusty of the lore of Inquisition you may need to watch the recap in the game.

This is probably the least strategic game in the series so far, following closer to the mechanics that are found in the later Mass Effect type of games. Which means you have allies, that have skills that you have to activate, that combo with your own skills, that you have to activate. This isn't a bad thing, just beware that it's NOT how the old series were played.

Graphically, the characters had a bit of an ugly uncanny valley resemblance and would have facial expressions that didn't match the tone of what they were saying. Everything else however was a beautiful, varied environment.

I DEFINITELY wouldn't buy this at full price. But I would pick it up on sale. it's a solid 40 hour adventure, more if you have multiple playthroughs of the different classes and sub-classes
