Beautiful, almost meditative. Reminiscent of Journey, but with flying and more lore.

I love the aesthetic - low poly does a good job here letting us immerse ourselves without messing with the uncanny valley. The sound design was a little bit rough in places - footsteps not sounding quite right, etc - but it's an indie game, and that's not the end of the world. I found the flying mechanic a lot of fun, but I was a little irritated at the fact that the game seems to focus on the flying, and then it takes that flying away so you can do jumping puzzles in the temples. While it's a small map, it feels like a huge world. There's a lot of lore you can paw through should you so choose, and its treatment is lovely.
Plot-wise it's pretty straightforward, but I felt it was so well executed that it didn't matter. The end was super satisfying and lovely. It's easy to get bogged down in the extra lore if you let yourself, but if you enjoy that sort of thing have at it.

My favourite part was the... echoes? Ghosts? Memories? you find littered around the map. They give exposition, they explain the map, they just share very human moments. Most of my time in this game was flying around the map looking for echoes and reading their stories. I found the experience almost meditative, and some of the echoes were very poignant.

It's a good game - well done. Maybe 3 hours of gameplay, more if you wanna poke around for lore and cheevos. Definitely pick it up the next time it goes on sale.
