In terms of story, this is one of the best FMVs I have played. I rooted for each character and was really engrossed in it. I finished it in one setting and plan to complete the endings. I will miss these characters. It's a must-play for story lovers.

Another outstanding horror game masterpiece by Frictional Games.

You are a WW1 French soldier who wakes up alone in a bunker, with no memories of what has happened while you were unconscious. You must traverse your way in the bunker trying to escape, which requires attention to detail in some cases and brute force in other cases.

The most difficult part is you are not alone, the whole time you’re fighting to keep the power on because the creature that stalks you hunts more regularly when the lights go out. If there’s a power outage and you’re nowhere near one of the only save points in the game. You need to crawl your way back to the save point, and that's the most nerve-wracking situation you will experience. The creature never stops stalking. However, its spawns are randomly generated and can be influenced by factors such as power, noise, and campaign milestones. The tension feeling never stops all throughout.

"Your mind is your most powerful ally or your worst enemy. The choice is yours"

What a good psychological horror game this was. Travel to the minds of the patients of Desmond Wales, a psychiatrist.

Each patient has its fears and weaknesses and it takes form as you traverse with each of them.

A times it caught me off guard, in which what I should fear was my ally. It presents a typical horror situation then flips it up and adds its uniqueness.

It was made with the knowledge of how the human mind works, which was illustrated realistically without adding more to it.
This deserves much more recognition. Truly an extraordinary game.

A classic horror vn from 2006 was finally released outside Japan and directed, illustrated, and originally conceived by Ueda Metawo, a developer mostly known for vn with grotesque and f*cked-up contents. You may want to proceed with caution if you’re a casual horror fan who likes visual novels with dark plots but doesn’t have a stomach for intense gore and r*pe. But if you can handle this, what awaits you at the end is an intense and emotional story, engaging characters, excellent artwork, and a highly diverse and atmospheric soundtrack.

Reading through this novel is one hell of a journey. It was hard to read and visualize all that suffering the characters had experienced; I nearly grossed out. But what I found at the end was an emotional and wholesome story about how it all happened and what made Yuka, who is the main villain with her funny clown friend, a sadist and the true definition of insanity, and it was all worth reading through to the end.

Be sure to apply the patch from the publisher's website for a full experience.

Another excellent horror vn from the developers, a great successor for "The Letter", and I have absolutely enjoyed it.

This vn tackles a lot of sensitive topics like suicide, death, abuse, blind fanaticism and some.
Most of the theme present are the guilt and denial of accepting their own flaws to the point of trying to achieve perfection while not seeing the reality that is happening around you and the person close to you. Its either you make up a story about it for yourself and play pretend or you move forward to be better and accept the truth.

The voice acting is PHENOMENAL, every sorrow, pain and every bit of feeling for each character was really expressed.
The story is quite short compared to "The Letter" but it was good, there are a lot of times where it was creepy, touching and joyful. I really got the most out of it. and its just enough to end it in its length
Looking forward to more stories from this developers.

"Decades ago, every known star and habitable planet mysteriously vanished, along with whatever and whoever happened to be on them, leaving behind an empty universe of asteroids and lifeless moons where the only remnants of humanity are those who were on space stations or starships at the time"

You are the most unlucky person sent to investigate a blood ocean on a barren moon and investigate the anomalies within it. Along with a rusty and creaky one-man submarine known as "Iron Lung" Due to depth pressure, the porthole is shut during the descent and your only tools to help you navigate are the proximity sensors, sound, incomplete map, and a primitive external camera to take pictures of the anomalies and to know what is happening outside your submarine.

Iron Lung is an indie horror game done right.

The atmosphere is top-notch, you could hear the anomalies and the creature lurking, while you are stuck in an old submarine that in a matter of time could give in.

Even if it is short, it gives a lot to your imagination and its lore has the potential to be expanded further.

This can be considered the best horror game that I have played, with a unique concept. Having dread and paranoia in your imagination do their own thing, without relying so much to jump-scares. But that ending... (checks my pulse)
