Elite Dangerous is a fine game, I want to get that out of the way. It is very polished and very nice and I love that they've really drove home the conspect of what they are doing. If you're looking for some good fun with traveling space then you will find it here.

I purchased the game blind, not knowing what to expect and I was pleased with the outcome. This game is about doing what you want to be blunt. Sell slaves, help the military, explore the universe, and things of that nature. Though one thing I do feel is VERY lacking and I just cant itch my scratch for is that all of this is mostly menus. It would be very satisfying but you dont really tell the diffrence between selling drugs and a bit of iron other than "Cops shoot you now" since you just buy them like the blackmarket is quite literally a market where you stroll down the isles.

The game is fun... for a while. Once you've done everything there is to do it just becomes bland. Theres no real point to it all in the end other than "Make more money." I can't complain much because it is a sandbox but what fun is it to only have one pail to make the same exact castle with twelve times? The game is millions of miles wide and three inches deep. Its to empty to have any sort of significants to what you're doing.

The only thing I really found fun was exploring. After you've shot your fair share of AI and have traded till you own one of the largest ships you start grasping straws. So I decided to go to the Heart & Soul nebulas and I was extremly excited. I got geared up and went out and then I started my journy. About halfway with somewhere around 3 hours or so into playing it just felt more of a chore than anything to find the next spot, repoistion, jump, find the next spot, reposition, jump. I finally decided to go back because I just couldnt have fun in the middle of no where if it took another 10 hours to get back from where I started.

TL;DR Theres just nothing to do that is satisfying. You have fun for a while but after everything it feels like a waste of time.

At first I was ready for the pay to win but honestly everything that everyone has had their jimmies rustled about is really crap. You pay 5 dollars to have some water and some bullets you'll get rid of in 30 minutes.

While it does KIND of give you an advantage it's kind of hard to keep the other people of the server off it unless you've got a bigger gun, plus there's a slim chance that it will give you a gun and chances are is you had one to protect the damn thing so if you're worried about P2W then worry no more because the drops are total trash.

Seriously, not sure why you'd even buy the thing for any other reason than it being like moths to a lightbulb and you could have a bit of fun shooting at a few fish in a barrel. It's gotten to the point where it's not the loot that makes it good (The loot is total garbage 9/10 times) it's the loot you get off all the dead bodies that took 10 seconds to try to open the thing.

Since that's out of the way I seriously recommend this game. I came in expecting hackers, p2w, and just plain kosing. For some reason I've yet to see a hacker, I've seen that the airdrop is just awful, and people are genuinly nice and, get this, DONT shoot you in the back after they've told you have a nice day! It's the community DayZ use to be before everyone just shot everyone else the moment they noticed they were unarmed. There are a few jerks here and there but all games have those, plus it makes the game more intresting in my opinion.

My first life I came across 12 people and 1 shot at me without any reason. I ending up dying because I'm a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ who forgets to eat. It's much more refreshing than the "Friendl- *CRACK*" of DayZ and it helps that hackers are spread so far apart.

This game so far is making sure to not even get near WarZ A.K.A. Infestation: Survive Stories territory and I'm glad they are working so hard to make sure their game is not complete ♥♥♥♥.

Seriously they've outdone themselves 10/10

The early release is amazing. There are a few obvious bugs to be scratched quickly but so far this game is already amazing. Unlike Space Engineers I hope this game will become more of a multiplayer survival base game instead of just the space simulator that Space Engineers has been recently. The breaking is amazing and the integrety makes me a little wet but I just hope it doesn't all go to waste and become one of those games I play if I say "I wonder if I can..." rather than a game where I can say "Lets get on a server and make a castle I can defend!"

I guess my point here is that space engineers is big on making things never seen with the tools at hand and while I love that about it I hope this game will be playable in survival strongly enough that there will be servers with average players that just want to build and be in a community.

Oh btw, 10/10 for an early release. If you enjoy destroying large building that took hours to build you're either going to love it a lot or hate it a lot depending on wether or not you meant to destroy it.

This game started in the right direction such as Nether did but it went downhill. Making it a free-to-play/"Buy once" game. Very low frames on a good computer, a lot of hackers, bad marketing ideas, it's just, bad. I would NOT buy this game. Spend you money on something that is actually good. Recommendation is DayZ: Standalone, Nether, DayZ: Mod, (Any HL2 zombie mod)
